my first time buying sealer bags, was a little disappointed, 3.5mils thick 5 layers commercial grade 11'x 50' . i measured it to be 10 7/8''x 40 feet the entire thickness was 10thousand of inch according to conversion chart equal to .255mm, if i did it right. regardless, agin not sure what 5 layer or commercial grade it was definitely thinner than the ziploc bags i got with my machine. so if that is commercial grade what does the cheaper stuff feel like.

I bought these because I was hoping to find a product equivalent to the brand name quality. This product exceeded my expectations. The bags are thick, have the lines for cutting sizes(I don't need them), and can be marked with date and contents with a marker. I have had no problems whatsoever with them not sealing. Although they do not fit in the Food Saver, that's not a deal breaker because of the monetary savings and the fact that I can store them in the pantry drawer. They arrived in a timely manner and I would definitely order these from this company again when I need them.

The rolls are too large to fit in my foodsaver and use the cutter. Not the products fault though. The reason I only gave 3 stars is there is no lines on the bags to measure how much to cut. I'm OCD like that and like to make the bags only as large as they need to be and uniform. They don't include the lines so that you waste more bag and have to buy more sooner.

great bag, one flaw...... you need to make sure the bubble side is UP when you seal. Also, if the bag isn't completely flat, there is no margin of error. the bag will have small leaks. I have been double sealing just to make sure. Other than that, seal every time and are MUCH cheaper than the real thing. BE CAREFUL and you can save a LOT of money

take my word for it..spend the extra money and get "real" food saver bags..these bags do not hold food airtight, after a few hours or days air gets into the bag and your food is no longer "airtight" i would not recommend this product, and will NOT reorder

There was a slight defect in the plastic (bunched/bump), but this did not affect the creation of vacuum pockets.I grind up about 14 lbs of dog food every other week and use 11x10 bags to vacuum seal his daily portions. This product does the job and does it perfectly.I returned some coffee beans I did not like to my brother via an 11x10 bag I cut out of this roll and he ended up buying his own vacuum sealer because of how impressed he was. For the price and quality, this is a brilliant product.

I wish I had a good review of this product. I wanted to email the shipper directly but could not find anyway to do that. I have been using bags like these for many years now and have had no problems with any generic brands I have bought. I can't say the same for these bags. At first glance they seem like good heavy quality bags. But when I go to seal therm, every other one just does not seal all the way across. I did about 12 bags and at least 6 had to be resealed or thrown away. I tried my older bags I had left and had no problem. So it seems this product is the problem. At this time I can not recommend these bags to anyone. Hopefully I just got a bad roll but I really can't see that happening. I will go back to my other bags I purchased here on Amazon.

I like these, but they are not clean inside. They had some bits of what seemed to be cardboard dust. They are made to put food in and I didn't want to wash them every time I made a new bag. For the most part they did seal and work well, though...
