ASINNO Solar Charger, 24W Folding Solar Panel Charger with Dual USB Port for All 5V Digital Devices (Orange)

Really liked this four panel solar charger with 2 USB ports for charging 2 devices simultaneously. Weight and size are reasonable. Just got back from using it on a 2-week Everest Base Camp trek and it worked much better (charged faster) than 2-panel devices other people had.

I received this item as a Christmas gift (hence the lack of a verified purchase) and after several months of testing I'm ready to leave a review.Sadly, I'm disappointed with this product. It simply doesn't have the power to charge devices like one would expect, even in intense sunlight. For example, the description says the charger is compatible with tablets. While you can certainly plug a tablet (iPad mini in my case) into the charger I've never seen it move the battery life by more than a couple of percent. The best this charger has ever performed was the give my 5+ year old Kindle a half-battery charge after an entire day of sitting out in the sun. The charger works, but not well.I thought this would be a cool and fun way to recharge my devices, especially while traveling. But it's just not powerful or efficient enough to get the job done. I suggest buying a couple of heavy duty power banks instead, which would be a lot more reliable and quicker than this. Even as a novelty, I could not recommend this solar charger based on my experiences.

I can not recommend this product to anyone, beyond those who have elementary knowledge of electricity. This unit works, no doubt, but it is not efficient at all, and does not come anywhere close to the rated power delivery of 24 watts. ( we are not talking hours or days later ), we are talking side by side, outside, under the same conditions, on the same table. I just purchased this item last month on groupon It worked great until today when I put my blackburn flea 2.0 magnetic bike light into it. The red light indicator showing sunlight is entering is fine, but it won't charge anything with Any cord.

Great product. Product actually works. I use it mostly when i'm home for the day. I charge up my power banks 2 at a time with it. I charge my tablet and e reader also. On a sunny day I just throw it out on the porch or something and forget about it. Works well for this. I would recommend this solar charger.

This is the best wallet I've ever owned. It looks cool, but its way too large and has no real pockets to put stuff. I just use it to generate power instead.
