Hassle for refund
Rug had two places that had the threading loose. Now it’s a hassle to send back. After reading, I will not be given a refund if the package was thrown away. It came in a plastic wrap that I Ripped off so I could get rug out. Very upset and do not recommend.

Gorgeous, but not as washable as expected
I had spent over a week reading reviews and blogs comparing these rugs with the "other" washable brand before finally deciding to go with this one. I have four young children, two dogs, and a cat so a rug that can be thrown in the washing machine sounded like a dream come true. Unfortunately, it's still a dream. I ordered an 8x10 rug, so I wasn't really -that- surprised when it arrived with a sticker on it that said 5x7 and larger rugs would need to be washed in a commercial washer at a laundromat even though I hadn't come across that little caveat when reading other reviews. Taking it in isn't as convenient as washing it at home, but at least I could still throw it in a machine, right? Wrong. At least not at our laundromat. The biggest machine at ours has a 40 lb drum and our ReaLife rug only fit if we folded it up and even then it was a tight fit. We shouldn't have bothered. Being folded meant that only the edges got clean and the dirty water got trapped inside the folds leaving the rug looking dirtier than it was before we tried washing it. Such a huge disappointment. Luckily, we own a power washer so we were able to spread it out on the driveway and clean it that way before tossing it up over a rope we tied between two trees to dry. It looks gorgeous again now, so it is "washable", but not at all the way we had anticipated or paid for.The rug itself is gorgeous and feels lovely under my feet. Our robot vacuum runs on it beautifully. Would I have chosen it had I known I wouldn't be able to throw it in a washing machine? Probably not. But it will still work for our family and so I am not completely devastated by this aspect. Just annoyed. Presumably, if you order a smaller rug or have a laundromat that carries the 100 lb capacity washing machines, you'll do just fine with one of these.

Easy to wash
I purchased the 5x7 size rug. My older dog (14 yrs) has trouble on wood floors, so I bought this to give her something less “slippery” to walk and stand on. I have two dogs, two cats, and two teenagers, and knew it was bound to need washing at some point. I liked the pattern options, the price, the simplicity, and the fact it could be put in a washing machine. It’s held up great to all the traffic it gets on a daily basis. It lays flat, and even after washing it, which wasn’t a problem (in a large capacity washer and dryer), the edges lay flat. Because of the size, I had concerns about putting it in the washer, but it’s fairly light-weight and flexible, so it fit with room to spare. It came through both washer and dryer just fine. It’s very flat (no pile), but still soft. After about 6 months and washing, it looks the same as when it first arrived. The price was very reasonable, especially compared to other “washable” rugs, and there isn’t a need to buy a special “holder” to keep it in place on the floor. It looks and feels like any other rug, just a little thinner. It even stays in place well, in spite of all the running across it that goes on. I think it’s helped my old dog, too, to have something she can stand on without having her legs slowly slide out from under her. It’s been perfect for what was needed!

Beautiful design, nice quality and value
I liked this brand of rug so much I bought a second. The value is better than the competitor which happens to advertise more and I like these designs. In person, the quality seems superior (comparing it to a neighbor’s). Both are for my kids‘ rooms so I wanted a soft surface that was easy to toss in the wash if need be. I’ve also tried carpet tiles but they aren’t washable. We also have just a lot of dust/smog from open windows and I wanted something to be able to fully clean once in a while. Would definitely have to be a commercial wash though- it won’t fit in my washer at home. It’s super super soft and the printed design is lovely. The grippy pads keep it on the ground and keep liquids from going through- no rug pad needed. My kids are pretty rambunctious and it has stayed put. Vacuums well. I will purchase again for other rooms- very pleased!

I'd say it's worth it!
The media could not be loaded. So far so good! Rug is thin, which I actually like. It has a soft, almost chenille feel to it. Interested to see how it holds up in a wash. I have watched numerous washable rug videos and I think the key is not to dry it. Hang or line dry only. It has a lovely neutral printed design which is what I wanted for my space. I bought the 5'x7' Traditional Beige Ivory for reference. I just ordered a 2.6'x6' for my patio door entry. Easy to vacuum over as well. I have had no issue with it "crawling" or sliding.

It is washable!
I bought this runner to replace one in my kitchen that would not wash well. With four dogs, accidents happen and it was time to find something that I could put in the washing machine rather than spot clean. It is very pretty and fits perfectly in my small kitchen. But the best test was on the second day when one of my dogs threw up her dinner right on the new runner. This size runner fits well in my large capacity washer. I followed the instructions on the label, including not putting it in the dryer. Let it dry flat overnight, and perfect! No lingering smell and bright as new. The price is also a consideration. There are other washable rugs available, but the ones advertised on TV are twice the price of this one. Recommend it, especially if you have pets.
