It works great as a radio and flashlight but don't expect it to charge your phone. I took this thing camping thinking it would be able to charge my phone by either solar power or by cranking. I was wrong. After sitting in the sun for HOURS it may have moved my phone percentage up one percent then stopped charging it. Cranking had the same yield as well. I know I didn't get a dud object either because we had ordered three and neither of them worked as a charger, it appears to be mainly for looks.

The best thing to keep in your house and your car! I was surprised by how compact these are but they deliver on usefulness! The flashlight is BRIGHT and easy to click on and off. I tested the weather radio (and AM/FM) instantly and they come through loud and clear. I love that even if I were stuck in a bad weather situation without power for an extended period, I could charge these with solar. The cell phone charger with the hand crank isn't going to get you to 100% but with some arm power (and maybe someone to swap off with) you could definitely get enough for an emergency call. Honestly, for this price, and the quality of this product, I don't know why everyone doesn't have them! Getting some for my mom and grandparents as well!

Ok, took one star be cause it does not work as a radio while being charged, either with 12 volt or 110 .. So if you want to listen to the radio and it loses it charge after a half hour or so, you have to stop listening, crank it or charge it for a while then you can listen again.

Small, compact and seems like it will do well. I now have one in the car and one in the house. I have not tested it yet, but plan to soon.
