Improve packaging and handling
The product is great but the material of construction is weak and one of the light cases was cracked when I received it.Since the light was working I did not return and continue to use it but packaging and handling should be improved

Using one now
I needed a new desk lamp for my 2 tier computer desk I had recently gotten. It is smaller than my old desk, thus giving us more usable room in our home office, which we needed. but when we got everything moved, we found that we needed more desk top space. So one of things we needed to eliminate was the bulky desk lamp and with LED becoming more and more portable and taking so little space, I looked around at my different options and found these. Read all the reviews, the price could not be beat so I got them. They came in a 3 pack as shown. you twist off the bottom and put in 3 AAA batteries. And taped them up with scotch tape to get the placement I needed to take full advantage of the light and found that all I needed was 2 of them. They were easy to set up just take off the tape strip and stick the light where you want it. Your done. Now all I have to do is tap it and I have light for my keyboard, if I need it over the work area of my desk top I just tap that one and I have plenty of light to see by.Now where do I put the 3rd one? Hmmmmm!

cheaply made
So they are very cheaply made .. BUT they do the job. I dropped one of the lights on my floor (which is faux wood) and the side of the light cracked and luckily still worked. I just taped it up and still used it. The lights take AAA batteries and are kind of annoying to put in. They don't go in smoothly but with a little force they do pop into place. I have added pictures so that you can see how they light up. They are more of a blue light and so they arn't all beautiful and what not.. but again, they serve the purpose for what I need. I would say for the price they are good, but they are definitely more like 5.00 lights to me.. hence the 3 stars.

Safer & brighter than candles, last longer too!
I had purchased these to put under my upper kitchen cabinets... and then Superstorm Sandy happened. We had no power for 11 days so were blowing through our wax/flame candles. After a few days we started using these as little lights we could walk around with, instead of using so many candles. I also put a few of them on the floor to light the way from one room to another in the dark (like runway lights). They were GREAT! They were obviously safer than candles and they lasted forever. They were also much brighter than candles, so that was a plus. For the price, I highly recommend having a few of these in your 'emergency supplies' kit.

Battery life of a fruit fly
I suppose for the purpose I was intending for these lights, I should have opted for more complicated hard-wired version. I wanted a couple of puck lights for under my kitchen cabinets to function not only for countertop workspace lighting but also for night lights. They are bright enough to be great for both functions however each light runs on THREE AAA batteries and, used 15 mins here and there throughout the daytime and from approximately 10pm to 5am overnight, the batteries lasted all of three nights. These lights may be a bargain up front but keeping them stocked in batteries will break the bank.
