The features I like about this charming little clock are its soft ticking (not the rapid, jarring tick of a wind-up clock), and the alarm sound is a reasonably quiet beep, not a blast of a sound that would terrify to wake people. I want a notification, not a loud alarm sound, so this suits me, but may not suit a heavy sleeper.I bought this clock for the ticking sound. I had such a hard time finding a new alarm clock that does tick! This is a soothing sound, not at all loud, as another reviewer says.The clock is simple to set and a compact size that fits anywhere, and nice style.The downside is that it is cheaply made, and may need replacing sooner than I'd like. I'd pay more for a sturdy clock, Equity! Hope they read these reviews.

The minute I opened the package I knew that this little alarm clock was of a higher quality than similarly priced ones. It's very attractive with a nickle case, and it keeps very accurate time. The backlight is better than most others, and the real plus is that the alarm increases the longer it rings until it's a loud constant alarm. Another high point is that it has a snooze button (the same as the backlight button), conveniently placed right on the top of the clock, that goes off with increasing loudness every 4 minutes. The 3" diameter size is perfect for a smaller night table or space. I have no idea why the product description says it is a wall mount clock because it is not.

My second! The first lasted 10 years or more. Alarm starts soft and gets louder if not shut off. Easy to operate. . like the little light available by pushing on the top. Good buy too.

It may sound silly but I have always had a clock in the bathroom(s). This one matches the fixtures, is small and highly accurate. No ticking is a plus. Very pleased with my purchase.
