Set of Six Plant Watering Globes

A day late but not a big deal- These are really big! AND sturdy! I'm ordering more since I have plants in every room and these globes are so helpful when I get too busy to check - although I do have a "Peace Plant" in one room that faints when it needs water. I have to say though that these particular globes are thick glass and sturdy compared to others I have tried. You do need a decent size pot that's got dirt (not those loose loam type soils) because they won't be able to stand up and the whole pot will tip over because of the weight when filled with water. And the real plus is that when I'm away, the dh doesn't let my plants die-(He's got a black thumb and tunnel vision ;) .

These have been around a while, and if you completely drench the planter before you use these, they will keep the plants indoors or on a patio outside out of direct sunlight for two-three days. I would have given this five stars, but for two reasons: One of the stems were broken on receipt, and it just wasn't worth the hassle to return it. Shipping was expensive and slow as well.

As others have said, have the soil thoroughly wet and poke a hole before inserting these. We put them around pots for mother who can't get out in her yard and refill them on our weekly visit. So far so good. They are a little hard to fill -- if you can find a funnel with a very small end that speeds it up a lot. Very pretty.

These watering globes are great for our plants, as we live in a desert climate and don't like to constantly water plants. These will last a few days indoors, but only one or two days outdoors (as it is so hot and dry). Nonetheless, they are very good and I am happy with the six we received.

Nice product keeps plants watered for a week. Here is Northern California it gets too warm and you can not get two weeks watering, but they do a great job of keeping the plants watered.

Ordered three boxes, everything is good except one of the ball broke when you arrived

Had these before and loved them. They water my plants when I forget! And they add some extra color to the garden.
