Pellet Pro Cpg-627 Pellet Grill - W/ PID Controller - Maintains 5°±!

This grill is great. Heaven gage metal. Highly impressed with the quality of the whole system. Two problems I had. No real assembly instructions. Just a diagram. Doesn't tell you which fasteners to use and where to use them. Which way to face the inserts. You can figure it out on your own but it would be nice to just look at an instruction guide. Then the other problem is more with the company. The sale said it came with maple hickory and cherry pellets. When I opened the package it was nothing but 4 bags of pecan pellets. So I'll have to go out and buy the pellets myself now. Let down. Other than that great product.

This is a quality smoker. It came very well packaged and everything is of the highest quality. There are no directions but a very well laid out one page picture of the smoker and all of the components. Pretty much bolt the four legs to the body (with the provided wrenches), Mount the smoke stack and thermometer and then place the shelves in place.The PID controller really does it's job and I was impressed with the first start up. Smoke Daddy has done a great job providing instructions on exactly what and how to go about getting it started the first time.I could go on and on about the results of the first roast but am sure Amazon would cut me off at some point. Suffice it to say that it was the most tender and flavorful roast I have ever had. In my opinion, you will look long and hard to find a better deal. A smoker and 20 lbs. of pellets to get you started. This was a great find and I am very satisfied.

Such a versatile grill, exceeds all my expectations. I added an eight inch Smoke Daddy cold smoke generator which really put this over the top. Still kicking myself for not getting the 969 model.

We bought this for my father and he loves it. It looks so nice and the food cooks nicely. Love it.

I researched all of them. Yoder, Traeger, Rec Tec, Brinkmann, etc. The larger door and second smoking shelf plus free pellets puts this one over the top. I bought direct and got the Smoke Daddy Cold Smoke generator with it, which I highly recommend. I have used this grill almost daily since I purchased it and recently won "Top Chef Best Ribs" in a small local event. The important thing in the directions that nobody reads is to vacuum out the fire pit on a regular basis. Any pellet grill can clump up after repetitive use without cleaning and cause a firebox fire. Vacuum the small pit every other use and you will never have an issue. Babybacks tonight on mesquite and oak after work. No way to do this on a stick smoker without a lot of time and attention. Top notch product!

I have a Traeger Junior now. I wanted a real grill. I looked around and found Pellet Pro. I think it is a great grill for the money. Heavier than most and cooks great. Came fast and went together fast and easy. Thermometer did not work and I called. It was put in mail that day. Great Customer service! The only negative I find. The Grill is about 2" to tall to fit in my van door. Have to shorten the stack or the legs or both. The shelf on the bottom is to light weight. Not sure what it is for. Don't even think to put pellets there. It sags when I rest my foot on it. Other than that it is superior to any others. Now my Traeger is next to my Weber in the corner.

Great grill! I have made some really great meats on this. I had a Traeger from Costco and returned it for this. Both do a great job, but this one is so much bigger for the same price. Smoke Daddy support is also really helpful. I use this grill all year around and it is outstanding!
