Not bad for what it is.
I use this product as part of my business sound deadening cars. The product works great but it’s hit or miss because it comes vacuum packed and thin as a pancake. You have to unpack and lay out the pads on the floor and it will gradually rise and get to their normal size. However, some will not rise and will need help.I ordered three separate sets. In one set, I had 1 not rise. In the second set, we had all rise with a couple rising only about 60%, and in the last order, I had approximately 4 or 5 that did not rise.To fix that, the company includes a semi-well written instructions for how to make the pads rise. I would recommend this as a viable alternative to the real expensive stuff.

The product has some noise cancellation, but the adhesion and lifespan is terrible.
I originally bought the product to cancel noise from my zoom classes bothering the rest of the people in my house, as well as preventing outside noise from disrupting my classes as well as sleeping better. The product did work to some extent, it muffled outside noise somewhat and reduced the audibility of my speech to the outside, but the adhesion is utterly awful. The adhesive lasted all of two months, and every panel has fallen off to the point where I just glued them on, if you are looking for a cheap solution, it works but you will have to make "additions" to make it permanent. At this point I honestly wish I had gotten a more expensive but better lasting panel.

Easy to work with
I used these panels to line the inside of an open-ended box built to cover a backup generator. Like many others who reviewed these, mine arrive severely compressed. They didn't expand much on their own once unpacked. I tried misting them with water and then following with a hair dryer. That didn't do much either. I then lightly pulled on them and they expanded to full thickness. It takes a little time and a heavy handed approach will likely tear them. I found the adhesive to be good and they can easily be trimmed to size. I'm not clear about noise cancellation value as the generator creates a substantial amount of noise.

Kind of a crapshoot with regard to re-inflating
I got two packs of these to cover a wall that I share with a neighbor to try to dampen some sound (ah, city living...). In the first pack, most of them re-inflated pretty well. In the second, a good 2/3 of them (8 total) were still pretty flat even after leaving them out to re-inflate for 2-3 days and spritzing with water, per the instructions. I ended up putting them up like that because they were taking up space, who knows if they'll continue to re-inflate over time. I can't vouch for how well they dampen noise since, like I said, I put them up for my neighbor's sake.

Quality?
Some of them looked like returns. The backing paper protecting the adhesive had come off in places and the adhesive tile wasn't tacky enough. Had to leave them out for 2 days and mist them with water. I found gently manipulating them helped expand them. Parts of a few stayed stubbornly flat.I don't believe they made much difference to the noise level. Overall quality wasn't great. I wouldn't buy again.

create a sound wall for my work from home office
This pack of sound panels was very affordable option for reducing the echo in my work from home office. Since March I was sent to home and work remotely in the corner of our study room. There is no door and the upstairs level steps are adjacent to this room. With my computer desk in the corner, my voice would echo and sound loud not only to those in the house and upstairs but also to those on our microsoft teams calls. With this panel set I used large pieces of cardboard from amazon boxes and stuck these panels in alternating patterns using the triangles on two large pieces. Then I taped both of these panel collections together and placed behind my monitors since that is the direction I am usually speaking. These panel sound absorption board has worked out well with reducing noise and echo and my meeting participants have noticed a difference!

Meh. Expensive for what this does, the edges come damaged.
I bought this with the hopes of dampening my home office (during the pandemic here), while offering something that looks nice and complimentary to the home office. It's too expensive for what this does. The self adhesive is average and if you use it on your walls, and you need to remove them for any reason, you're SOL. The product will tear and leave a lot of the product on the wall. Not cool. Lastly the way this is packaged, (all pieces highly compressed), the first few on the top and bottom, (they're all stacked on one another), the edges are damaged and would not "unfold" after days/weeks of being out in the open. They're just damaged.I'd shrug this off if the unit was cheaper, but at almost 40 bucks, I expect better quality.

Not for Aesthetic Looks
I originally bought this product to stick to my window curtains so I won't be able to hear the cricket chirping at night. When I opened this though, bruh. Only 8 of them managed to inflate all the way and 4 were still flat after 2 days. Tried doing the water and dryer, didn't work. I'm not dissatisfied, the noise cancellation supresses sound okay, but the looks not really. The foam is not made equally, some are flat with no triangles and some look normal.
