AUKEY Camera Lens, 0.2X 238°Ultra Wide Angle Lens for iPhone 8/7 / 6, Samsung & Other Android Phones

Overall a good external lens for the iPhone. I like how the little collar that protrudes from the phone camera lens serves to center the lens. You know that the lens is properly centered when it snaps around the collar. The sharpness of the image decreases around the periphery of the image but there is enough fisheye distortion that it seems to distract from the lack of sharpness. This lens does NOT give you a 180˚ circular hemisphere image even though the manufacturer claims a 238˚ field of view. I was not able to independently confirm this claim. The image you get is a rectangle with the same aspect ratio of the native camera lens. I mostly use this lens for making panos with the Apple camera app. If you have other lenses for your phone that attach by way of a metal ring that is glued to the phone casing this lens attachment does not work well and the image is degraded further. You should remove the ring before using this lens. The clip is not overly snug. I have had the clip come off the the phone and I have had the lens separate from the clip (clip is only held onto the lens by friction)

This product is pretty cool, but something you need to keep in mind is the fact that your fingers WILL get caught in the picture unless you do some funky phone handling (which is intimidating, because you will risk dropping it). There is some lens flare in broad daylight, which can get annoying. The biggest concern is that if you don't center it perfectly, then your image will come out very blurry. The outer edges are very blurry too. Overall, the lens is good enough to convince you to keep it for the sake of a bit of photography fun, but don't expect professional quality.

I wanted to take mobile photography to the next level instead of carrying around an SLR camera. Galaxy S7 Edge hasn't been out long enough to have a ton of adapters to choose from. So I was reluctant because of the higher price, but ended up buying a few lenses from different brands just to be prepared for the trip.Even though I till haven't reviewed the pics on the computer... just from the image preview on the screen I'm able to see the huge difference in the quality from used the Aukey lens!Had to take the case off the phone in order to get a nice tight fit - no big deal.High quality lens, easy snap on adapter, no black circle around the image (used a difference cheaper lens when i wanted that effect) No blur when adjusting the settings, FYI make sure to keep the hands out of the shot !completely satisfied ! next day delivery on point! Price is worth it... and planning on buying more lenses from this brand!

Just what I needed: a lightweight, inexpensive lens that could capture a wide angle view while recording video. I definitely had to remove the thin case off my iphone 6 in order for the lens to focus properly, but I don't mind.**EDIT**: For photos, I don't have many complaints, but alas, after using this lens for several videos, I was very disappointed to learn that it unavoidably muffles audio.

Its great and easy to you will be looking at the cases that you can mount them with the clip holds but is not really secure. I have to remove my case to use the lens, witch stinks but the pictures when i am using it are amazing. Looking at your Telephoto Lens now.

The lense was blurry, heavy and the mechanism that holds it to the phone is not well developed.

Possibly the best wide angle lens I've experienced yet for mobile devices. Minor blur at the outer edges, but WAY better than the competitors. I'm very pleased with this purchase! Order was received as promised and the packaging was awesome.

wow this lens is gorgeous! works beautifully and no issues!

Its a super stuff and I purchased it for Rs 2400/= but since then its price has gone up to Rs.3849/=, its toooo expensive no product goes up that high, even gold price doesn't rise that high, don't be in hurry these sort of lenses are not often use except on special occasions. Wait till its price drops, nearly Rs 4000/= for mobile accessories is waste investment for a rarly used stuff.

Very Very unexpected from a reputed brand like Aukey. Had heard of good reviews from the original Aukey in US. But this product was very disappointing.1. There were scratches on the lens.2. The picture looks more like a fish eye than Wide Angle.3. The picture quality is pathetic.4. Lens edges are visible.5. Does not fit Pixel Phone properly

I received wrong product, I ordered PL-WD02 for 2750 rupees, but when i open package i found PL-WD01 worth 2500 rupees, i wanted to return but I've heard about the poor operation of returning items(ie. I request for return, another item was broken \damaged)... WD01 which I received is really great lens though, but what about 250 rupees that i paid extra for such lens which is of 2500...PL-WD01 review : its great lens, it does what is written on it, zero distortion...

Don’t be misled like me believing it’s a “normal” wide angle lens enabling you to catch a wider scope than with your iPhone cam. This lens is a pure eye fish lens as mentioned by other reviewers already. I was not interested in an eye fish lens but even if I had been it does not do a great job to be frank ... gives quite blurry pictures.Also the clip holds relatively ok to the phone but leaves slight marks on the original iPhone cover.

Guys performance is not good with my note 8 gets disturbed image while even walking . It should be stable. Not upto the mark. Blurry pictures.Also seller is accepting the return of the item though it is mentioned it is returnable. Got trapped.Now it is my mine if somebody wants contact me 8288927321 will sell it for 2800inr
