OEM Delonghi Two-Cup Filter Originally for Delonghi EC9335M

I couldn’t find a listing with an exact model match for my EC950M, I suspect packaging can’t keep up with the number of models they sell. So, with a little bit of research and with fingers crossed I ordered this filter and it’s perfect. Side-by-side I can’t tell which is the difference between what came with the machine or this filter.I immediately ordered another, I love the crema these pressure filters produce.

These are so easy to clean. Two piece filters are superior

I don’t think this coffee filter is actually DeLonghi “Original Equipment”. When we replaced our original filter with this one for our La Specialista system, it started clogging up and pegging the pressure gauge. After lots of trial and error, it seems like the holes in the main filter piece (with the rubber gasket) are ever so slightly “too big” and so let little specks of coffee grounds down into the lower cup area. Then the single small hole in the bottom of the cup is slightly “too small” and so a single coffee ground speck can block it up and peg the internal pressure. :-( We are trying to manually increase the size of the small hole in the cup to prevent the coffee grounds from clogging it up. Hopefully we can make this work. But I would recommend paying the extra few bucks for a “Real” DeLonghi filter next time.

I took a chance on this since my Delongi espresso machine was not listed ec955 and boy am I glad I did. It arrived quickly and a perfect fit.

Does not fit Delonghi ECP3120

To use this basket I needed to remove all of the inside parts of the basket holder since it was deeper. The basket rim was also too large and a 1/32 needed to be ground off to allow it to fit in the receiver. Not a plug an pray basket although I managed to get it to work.
