Pretty Good Deal
I'm very pleased with my purchase. I'm not QUITE an audiophile, but pretty close. I did a lot of research on cans at this price point before pulling the trigger on these Audio-Technicas. I already own the AD700's and the sound quality of the M50's is on par with them, but with the difference of being closed rather than open, and of course the bass making itself at home (the biggest reason I purchased them to be honest, I felt the AD700's were superb for gaming and vocals, but not heavy-hitting bassy music). The shipping was very fast and arrived before the estimated date. This review is for the headphones, not the amp. I honestly like the microfiber cloth more (it's a good size)! The Fiio E6 is not really anything to write home about. It's small, convenient, and definitely amplifies, but in essence it just makes everything louder, which isn't really helpful. My phone, computer, or any other device that I connect these headphones to can amp just fine by themselves. If you want to experience excellent quality sound, don't put your faith into a tiny analog amp, invest in a decent DAC (Digital Analog Converter); I've heard Fiio's E17 is pretty decent, but it's about $120 at the time of this review. At $150, this is a steal, from a great distributor. As I mentioned earlier, it arrived early. You also get a small amp and microfiber cloth basically for free as a part of this package deal. I got the white cans, they look pretty slick! The bass thumps on my HTC EVO 4G LTE with Poweramp, and I'm only playing mp3s! If I had a device that supported FLAC or other lossless audio formats I'd be in heaven because these phones already dominate anything I throw at em. Truly a fantastic item at this price!I've had these for a couple months now and they sound better after some break-in. Hard to notice because they break in slowly and I don't have a brand new pair to compare my now-broken-in ones to, but I am without a doubt really enjoying the high fidelity sound they offer. I'm a basshead and like my jams to bang like a shotty, so I was looking for a pair of headphones that could deliver, and I don't regret my purchase in the least!Pros:- Amazing sound quality for the price- Very comfortable and ergonomic, can wear for hours without any discomfort- Solid build quality; plastic, but not cheap-feeling- Pretty slick looking (white)- Bass hits very hard with the right EQ and equipment- Comes with a couple extra items at no extra cost- Not Beats by DreCons:- Not quite as sound-isolating as I'd hoped, there may be better options for DJs or those demanding complete sound isolationOverall, these headphones are an incredible buy from a reputable company, and this particular package on Amazon gives your a couple extra goodies basically free. I am fully satisfied with my purchase (the items I received and the manner in which I received them).

From my cold dead hands
I'd like to say to take these headphones away you'd have to pry them from my cold dead hands, but that would be hyperbole. If they stopped making them, though, you'd at least have to give me a good beating before you could get them. As it is, if stolen, I'd probably just order another pair. I would order another pair.I've had these for a few months now and they've become my favorite all around headphones. I've been through a lot of them (Sennheisers, Bose, open, closed). These stay comfortable when on for hours and make listening to music watching movies and gaming a joy. The bass is plenty present, but not at all muddy and the clarity in the mids and highs in absolutely a dream. Even though they're close headphones I don't feel that isolated from my environment when I listen at reasonable volume levels. I can listen at reasonable levels because all the detail is present and filling up my ears with rich sound. I don't need to crank it up to feel like I'm there listening to music or in the game or movie world.I can imagine reasonable people having other favorite headphone choices, but I can't imagine any rational person saying that they don't think these are quality headphones with good value for the price. For me, though, my search for my base at the computer headphones is over. I don't feel like I need to look for a better fit, because I've never been this satisfied with a pair of headphones a few months into owning them.

Hype is unrealistic
I bought these headphones under a lot of hype. For the most part the sound quality is pretty good, but the bass is completely lacking. (amp helps a lot) These headphones are also very uncomfortable when it comes to gaming. They heat up your ears and make them a little sweaty. The grip of the headphones themselves grabs your head tighter than expected and gives you an uncomfortable experience overall. These are for the pure use of what they're intended for, music listening. If you're buying them for any kind of gaming, I would easily pass these up for something else in that department.

Sexy headphones that don't disappoint
These are some nice headphones. They look simply stunning in the white color. If you are at all worried about fashion, don't worry. They are not flashy but the white makes them very attractive. When it comes to build quality, they feel pretty solid and sturdy. Comfort will vary on the user. I personally find them a little tight on my head which is not very comfortable but definitely bearable. I prefer to keep them on just so I can hear the sound. These are somewhat large headphones and the cord is thick and heavy and the part that plugs into your source is very well built. It looks like it will last a long time but because of it's impressive build it is a bit heavy and the headphones are not the best for portable use although it is possible. The sound is great for the price. Nothing that will wow you but it is quite clear and detailed with powerfull bass. The bass is done in a way that makes itself easily known and powerful but also not overtaking the rest of the song so if you want the bass to be huge thumpy bass that causes you to focus solely on it over other areas of the song then look elsewhere.

not particularly comfortable for those who wear glasses....
I would really love to give this 5 stars, but they are actually fairly uncomfortable after a short time. Not really the product's fault, but I wear glasses... and I assume anyone who wears glasses might want to take into account the pressure of the earcups. Awesome sound quality, though.
