I liked it while I used it. It wasn't too hot or too harsh on my skin. However the cap of the water tank broke after two uses so I returned it. Also the box says it does cold misting, it doesn't, and says it has a battery, which it doesn't. The box and product description say "perfect for aromatherapy" which is part of the reason why I bought it, and when I read the instructions it said "DO NOT ADD OILS", so pretty much it doesn't do anything it says it should.

So I was skeptical to buy reading the reviews but I have missed having a steam facial. I purchased this product and it was exactly what I needed. Others complained the water compartment was too small. Here is th deal anything more than 10 minutes for a steam facial you can seriously scald your face. This holds the perfect amount of water. Best feature is the auto shut off when the water runs out. It is their version of a timer. Also read all of the instructions and warning manual as it tells you everything you need to know. I used to volunteer my time at a cosmetics store that specializes in steam facials and this compares to their machines. I recommend using distilled water in it. It is the best personal steam facial machine and works like a dream.

I actually bought this product when I had a very sore throat and needed as much moisture as possible.It's outstanding and, of course, also steams your face and neck intensively. As well, it's on a 'timer' of sorts since the water container holds just a few ounces. So after about 3-5 minutes, the mist subsides so you can decide if you want to do another session. You control it totally and it's quite portable. Would definitely purchase again or recommend.

I got this steamer because the description says that you can use essential oils but the instructions clearly tell you that using oils can cause the plastic to break. I've had the item less than a month and the water reservoir is already leaking and cracking. I'll be sending this back.

I really love this product takes seconds to steam and has drastically helped with breakouts and the cleanliness of my face. Perfect for facials and i like to add a few drops of tea tree oil. I am wondering if i could buy the water pod separately or have it replaced, I just went to use it and the screw cap is broken, and the time i had for returns has lapsed. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!

I recently purchased this steamer which I have used a couple times and I do like it. But I wasn't happy with the misleading ad on box that said it also has a cool misting setting which it really doesn't. I was looking forward to using it both ways. I like to use oils but after attending a class on oils use I found out that the hot mist breaks down the oil effect and thence oil doesn't work for the purpose it's intended. So I'm not sure I'm going to keep it. So I'm going to give it 4 stars.

This steamer works awesome and gives me that Spa like feeling! Really adds to the facial experience! You should definitely treat yourself to this product!

Has a good amount of steam. Sort of a weird smell but I think its normal. Wavers a bit when I first start it up but overall satisfied. Little spa treatment at home!
