Thiamax has been life saving!
After discovering I was thiamine deficient since 2015 (never told/treated), it was again noted on labs and I was very symptomatic, diagnosed with dry beriberi.I started on thiamine hcl (3/20) at 100mg for first few weeks, then added a BComplex/multivitamin,and magnesium. I SLOWLY upped by 50mg increments every 3-4 weeks adding in ttfd (allithiamine: TTFD w/fillers) until Elliot’s Thiamax (ttfd no fillers) 100mg came out in late summer of 2020, then used both to continue upping by 50mg increments.I follow his thiamine neurological inflammation protocol now and am actually documenting nerve regeneration (skin biopsies showed SEVERE small fiber neuropathies SFN 11/21) tested by my neurologist. Dr Douglas understood very little about treating me two years ago. Researching Elliot’s great Utube videos and his articles on hormones matter and now his latest booklet summarizing thiamine (his book is in production), I’ve educatedly been trialing, journaling two years seeing my symptoms improve and now actual neurological exam indicating nerves are regenerating! After showing my neurologist Elliot’s neurological inflammation protocol, he excitedly told me to “keep following this protocol, I’m amazed at your progress.” THIAMAX and thiamine have saved my life, and given me a better quality of life! Highly recommend this ttfd form with NO FILLERS. It is a “stronger” form (crosses the blood brain barrier getting into the cells more readily), so start low and up slowly and understand the possible “paradoxical reactions.”I had to support my methylation, glutathione, and electrolytes after learning they were all low in my functional medicine doctor’s lab testing. This helped me reduce my reactions and tolerate this thiamine form best, after learning from Elliot’s UTUBE video on the possible paradoxical reactions. Elliot Overton along with Lonsdale and Marrs have excellent education on thiamine. As an RN, I highly recommend his products! 5 ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

THE REAL DEAL - A++ (I normally don't write reviews)
I've taken about 40+ different supplements in my journey to cure my brainfog and lethargy. My biggest symptom is feeling tired all day, as well as having a delay in processing information (e.g i'd hear something, and then it'd take 1-2 seconds before i really understand or process it).Of all the supplements I've taken, nearly none of them have any noticeable effect (the only exception is Alpha GPC and ALCAR, both of which increase focus.. but they still don't sovle the underlying issue of lethargy and energy)After watching a youtube video from EONutrition about B1 TTFD and its effectiveness in decreasing brainfog and lethargy. Apparently the Dr. who tried evangelizing this vitamin, Dr. Derrick, tried for SIXTY YEARS to tell everyone about its benefits.... but no one listened. He wrote an entire book about the benefits of b1 TTFD too if you search for it... and he had nothing to benefit/gain, because he didn't sell any supplements under his name. So you know he's legitimate.Since taking this product (2 pills a day), I feel the benefits immediately within 30 minutes - 1 hour. I have way more energy, way less brainfog, feel much more in the moment (vs. before when I was always in a daze) and way more confident. This price is a steal. Give it a try. It's the most effective supplement I've taken.

One of the best on the market
This has been a miracle supplement for me as I go through a health condition that depletes thiamine. I've been using this for 6 years now and it's helped immensely with brain fog, fatigue, and memory recall. There are no fillers which makes it a no-brainer for me.

Fierce Flavor! Don't Remove From Capsule!!
Amazon has asked me to rate the "flavor", which is quite funny because I can tell you that it is absolutely horrendous. I thought I could take the powder out of the capsule (since my doctor recommended 50 mg per day and the pill is 100 mg) and divide it into two days' worth of thiamine. However, I DO NOT suggest this! The taste is vile!!! My god. I could smell and taste it the rest of the day, no matter what I tried to eat or drink to get the taste out of my mouth. I may have to resort to making my own capsules using half of the powder. I can't speak on effectiveness, though it seemed very potent that one time I tried it.

Didn’t take them long enough. Nice quality though, but started seeing an holistic doctor instead of grabbing at straws. Lol

High quality product — but approach with caution, especially for neurological injury
I believe this is a quality TTFD product, and I don’t doubt that it helps some people. But I also believe it’s important for those with complex neurological issues — especially long-term injury from benzodiazepines or other GABA-disrupting agents — to approach high-dose thiamine therapy with great caution. After watching Eliot Overton’s video lectures and reading extensively on high-dose B1, I slowly built up to 300mg of TTFD over the course of two months. My hope was to support mitochondrial function and aid in the recovery of lingering brain symptoms from a long-past benzo taper. However, despite carefully following the approach and integrating key cofactors, my symptoms gradually worsened on the protocol — and they have not yet fully returned to baseline, even over a month after stopping. The product itself is not the issue — it’s well-packaged and likely pure. But the lack of clinical support or follow-up from the practitioner promoting this protocol makes it difficult when things go wrong. I don’t believe it’s responsible to recommend high-dose neurological interventions through videos without offering individualized guidance or warning about the risks for sensitive populations. This may be a powerful tool for some — but it’s not universally benign, and it’s not a guaranteed fix for everyone. I’m sharing this in the hope that others with vulnerable nervous systems will proceed with greater caution and informed skepticism.
