This is not a setup for backpacking, it may not even be a setup for car camping. Lets be honest, it takes up a ton of space, its large and bulky. However, we bought it for when company comes over and it has been great. Its like another twin bed in our home. It is easy to set up and is very comfortable to sleep on. If you want to save time you can just throw the pad down, its very soft and comfortable on its own. Love how big it is and how comfortable it is.

I took this out for the first time a couple of weekends ago. I was INCREDIBLY impressed. The cot went together easily and the pad is a breeze to attach.I love camping but hadn’t been going very often because I don’t sleep well on the ground or an air mattress. I wake up several times a night and it makes my back hurt like hell. With the cot and pad, I slept better than I do in my own bed.Really the only negative thing I can say is that the cot feels a little flimsy and wobbly when you get in and out of it. It supported my 215lbs with ease though.

We were moving and knew we would be ahead of the furniture. Great camp cuts. We used them with the pads. Son is almost 6’5 so he needed a sturdy and extra long cot. Could roll over. Used them for a month. Was very happy to get into beds but they will be perfect for car camping

I've been camping since I was 2. In a tent, camper, trailer, motorhome and back to a tent.I'm older now so I need a few luxuries while enjoying the outdoors and I've place you don't want to skip is on your sleep system. I'm watching those videos of outdoor in the off-grid bushcrafters over the last few years to know this was the cot for my wife and I. you see she's six foot one and I'm only 5-6 but I'm a thick and wide guy with very broad shoulders so these cops work perfectly for my wife's long legs and my broad shoulders.Sturdy to a fault when they say they can hold up to 600 lb they can I know I've tried it!as big and wider than a twin size bed fits fantastic in my 10 x 12 tent and I sleep better on this cut out in the woods that I do my own bed back at home I highly recommend it!

Great for design, make sure you get the pivot arm version!! This cot is plenty light for it’s size, easily folds into its bag but can be a little cumbersome to manage first time. The pivot arm is a MUST to get the last bar clicked into place. Make sure to get the XL pad and the Vista 1 tent, this is a nice set up for the average camper not hiking in. Wish it came with the accessories like the cot bag and extended rain fly but otherwise all good.

Amazingly comfortable.
