Yes it is, Ideal! They make excellent products, and those products live up to the name, the only thing is that you have to know your way around these products to be able to take full advantage of what they can do, fo example...this bender here, if you don’t know it needs to be tightened even more than it already has been, you will think you’ve been sold on a knock off, and paid premium for it, I guess it’s a trade secret cause nobody’s talking about it, long story short, yes this bender is made of Iron, not cast Iron though, “ductile Iron”, a bit different...the best conduit bender you can buy!

Great price, is a replacement for an Ideal that I bought back in 1992 (was just fine after 20 years) that was not returned to me. I wont buy any other benders!!!If you are a beginner at pipe bending, get the bender get some 1/2" emt read the book, find some stuff around the house or where ever you are at and start bending.
