UPDATE: poor quality materials - stripped thread from using the Magicshine Out-front Bike mount
UPDATE: 8/25 - so I bought the out front bike mount for my Garmin bike computer . it allows you to mount the computer on top; and on the bottom an accessory (e.g. goPro, slide clip light, Magicshine light 900 series).the video instructions say to uscrew the base bottom bracket of the light, then use the twist-mount adapater, then mount the adapter to the base of the light. the screw was too short and the out-front kit did not come with any screws. Finally, after one hour I got the adapter attached to the base to later mount to the bottom of the out-front mount. I went to twist of the light, and the light came off, but the adapter was still on the mount. It stripped my screw and I am upset for the fact this MagicShine is poor quality. I am out $120 dollars for a useless bike light that I cannot mount anymore. I will be calling MagicShine and let them know their accessories not only damaged my light, but it was no good with mounting additional accessories.credible product item is very easy to use. I do love the three levels of brightness and the daytime strobe light. Great value for the money. I’ve gone out at several bike rides at night. And this thing shoots at least a quarter-mile a mile away and you can see signs reflecting off the light. I wish that the main headlight cable or a little bit longer. But with an extension cable from Magic Shane, it makes the insulation much easier. I placed the on off switch underneath my handle bar which makes it look very discreet and it’s easy to trigger by using my index finger. I feel that I should’ve gotten a higher model up. But for the money I think this is worth it.

Bright! ...but
I have a lot of experience with bike lights. I bought my first bike light back in the mid-90's and have lights by nite rider, night sun and light and motion. I've used lights in mountaibiking including 24 hour racing, road riding and most recently year round commuting in Portland.I was amazed to see such a powerful light at this price. I also really found the idea of an integrated front and back light and the idea of a remote control neat.My initial take: this is a really bright and very tiny and lightweight light. I'm not sure I'd ever run high commuting on the road unless I was descending at crazy high (30 mph) speeds. I would only use flashing mode during day as it would be disorientingly bright in the dark. It would be great if you were in a search and rescue situation in the woods, though The tail light is really tiny and really bright - at least 100 lumens. Haven't gotten remote to work with it yet. The attachment bands don't work on side knobs- too wide. Routing the cable is more problematic than I expected. I wish I ordered the extension cable (done) and would recommend you do so.This light is an amazing value. We'll see how it holds up. I think it could be improved a lot with minor design tweaks.

Very bright! Great for pre-dawn rides on country roads
I've used my MJ 902 for about a week now, everyday. I'm very happy. It's much brighter than my previously light. I feel much safer. I only use the headlight and the wireless remote button. I don't use the tail-light.I have just a couple of nits / observations:1) It came with three rubber bands, presumably for fastening the Headlight, Tail-light, and wireless button. One was larger than the other two. The instructions did not say to expect that. I presume the larger one was for the headlight, but it was ALMOST too thick to fit in the tiny groove on the light. I had to work very hard to get it to fit.2) The manual said that I would get 3.2 hours on a fully charged battery at 100% brightness. I got just under 3 hours. I had 10 minutes to go on my ride. I assumed it would gradually dim. Instead it just shut completely off about 3 miles from home. I had to use my cell phone for a make shift headlight for the last three miles.

Good Design Starting to Question the Quality
I would like to start off with I ride everyday back and forth to my work. I am on Bagram Airfield in Afghanistan and having a good dependable light is something I need. In the past I would buy the $20-$30 lights and they would last for awhile and something would break. i decided to step it up and purchase the Magicshine even though I was hesitant to spend that much for a light. I got the light and installation was super easy and I do love the look and design and look of the light and every thing seemed to perfect the first few days. The first thing to go out was the spliter that connects the battery to the front and back light. I ordered a replacement spliter and after waiting two weeks I installed it and everything was back perfect. After a few days of being very happy with the light the rear light stopped working with the remote switch. I can turn the light on and off form the switch on the light but not with the remote. Maybe I just had bad luck or got a bad light not really sure since most of the reviews are positive for this product.

I needed a bike like as bright as a car light
After many years of not riding. I bought an E Bike. Wow what a new world for me. Goes great and I never worry about getting home if the wind changes. The most important thing on this new bike was night riding, as I enjoy the ride in the cooler summer evenings, but the $30.00 light that I bought, even with the light that came on this $2500.00 E bike were not nearly bright enough for my comfort level needed at night. I shopped on Amazon and found that bike lights can cost as much as $500.00. Too much for a casual rider, but $112.00 didnt seem so crazy, plus amazons return policy makes it easy to try something new. This light is just perfect. As bright as a car headlight and as small as a golf ball.; I am as happy as can be at night now. I can see clearly in front, plus I have put about 6 little different color flashing lights all around the bike to be noticed, maybe too much, but even the Pizza delivery kid in the neighborhood stopped completely before passing me in the dark. Mission accomplished. Great light, so far . More than most of my bikes cost in the past, but worth it
