I was really hoping to like this product. Packaging and colors are nice however the whole reason for this purchase is to replace using cotton swabs when I do my makeup. This product is horrible for that. The ends are made out of silicone which does not absorb water or makeup remover and even if I tried to add some I still found it tugging at the skin around my eye to get the makeup off. One swipe with a cotton bud would easily and gently take off my makeup where as this requires multiple passes and is not gentle. It’s a shame because the idea of using a reuseable product is great just wish the execution was better.

From reviews here and on youtube, I knew this wasn't absorbing. I bought it with intention to stop using disposable Q-tips, and to drape a thin piece of absorbant cotton (a dish towel, or Moroccoan style bath/beach towel) and use in ears. It has worked flawlessly for me. I hold the cotton and Q-tip a bit below base of the head of the Q-tip so as not to go too deep in the ear. The stem seems sturdy, ut I've only had it about a month or two; using it daily. I like to travel light, so for me, the case is massive for the size of the Q-tip;when I travel with it, I intend to house it in something else.

Definitely a change from cotton swabs, but very nice once you get the hang of them. Having hooded eyes, I was routinely using at least 1 if not 2 cotton swabs to clean up my mascara after applying it. Now that I'm used to it, I can pretty easily apply astringent or makeup remover to clean one eye, clean it off, and do the other eye. Definitely recommend to decrease / eliminate single-use cotton swabs.

Works great when things get in my eyes, or for use around my ears. It’s basically a plastic stick with two slightly textured lumps of silicone on the ends. It will draw out contaminants from the corner of your eye easily and more comfortable than a cotton swab. Clean up is a breeze with soap and water. The carrying case makes it easy to throw in a bag.

Purchased for family members & here's the review: The swab itself does an okay job of cleaning the outer ear since shoving any swab deep into the ear is medically not recommended.The swab portion itself could be a little more flexible & is not of absorbent material; but the chief problem here is that the connector stem lacks durability & breaks. Broke within a month of use - was used after showers.In the interest of protecting the environment can try it again if the tips are made slightly more flexible & the connector stem issue is remedied; else not. Maybe a bamboo stem cotton swab (as opposed to a plastic stem) swab would work better for now until there's a better version!

Ordered one of each of these for my fiance and myself in an attempt to reduce waste and his just snapped out of nowhere last month. We took excellent care of them and were not rough with them. Seems awfully pricey for an item that's only built to last 3 months.

Perfect for precise applications with everything. Nice, soft and flexible for comfort. Also removes mascara from under the eyes easily.

I loved the idea of this product because I wanted to stop using traditional disposable cotton buds which I use to remove make-up/mascara from around my eyes. Unfortunately, while these seemed like a great idea, the plastic end was not able to pick-up any of my mascara or make-up like a traditional cotton bud would have, so unfortunately I think I'll have to switch to bamboo cotton buds.This product might work for you, but personally did not work for my use.

Love the concept, presentation and packaging but it doesn’t work well at removing excess eye make up. I find it just smears it around creating more of a mess. A shame given they are expensive items.

Does not remove makeup easily around the eyes, despite using makeup remover!!!! Do not recommend.

Won’t change my product to something that’s better for the environment if it’s not better for me. Well this is even better for make up than a cotton bud & it’s so easy to clean! I love it!

Finally something to replace cotton buds! soft on the skin, easy to clean and great little storage box.
