Better than the OPTP strap, and cheaper.
This is a stretch strap - as in, a strap used for stretching, but whose material and construction itself doesn't stretch.The standard for this product category is the OPTP 'Original Stretch Out Strap', which goes for $18 in the longer version that's comparable in size to this one: https://www.amazon.com/Original-Stretch-Exercise-Poster-OPTP/dp/B002E7HGAO/The strap is 1" wide, 8' long.There are clones of the OPTP strap, but whose reviews suggest are of lower material and construction quality.Then there are the stretchable stretch straps, which have a different purpose in mind. Example:https://www.amazon.com/Therapists-Choice®-Choice-Stretch-Strap/dp/B00VTVP98C/The Gradient Fitness strap, in contrast to the coarser weave of the OPTP strap, uses a herringbone weave in a material that's similar in design to a seatbelt strap. It's smooth, snag-free, feels strong, and doesn't 'give'. The loop stitching doesn't budge - as you're putting the most pressure on these while doing the stretches, you want these to be strong.The end loops also have a thin layer of neoprene material on the inside, for comfort.This Gradient Fitness strap is functionally identical to the $18 OPTP strap, yet has superior materials and the neoprene padding. It also just looks and feels nicer. Priced at $10, it's better in every way.Also, I noticed that the THINK strap is a bit wider (1.5"), of a similar design, and is priced similarly. Great quality for the money!
Excellent quality and durable band to use for my physical therapy stretching. The loops are very helpful in changing positions and tension quickly. The padded handles are an added bonus which makes grabbing easy!

Comparable product to the optp brand. In terms of long term use, time will tell. So far, I’m satisfied and this fits my needs.
