This product is expired. All of it. These are the old style bottles, which haven't been produced in a few years now, which means that EVEN SEALED they are no good. If you want to buy the more current bottle that isn't expired, I explain how to tell the difference between the old and new product at the end of my review.We bought this just UNDER one year ago. We don't need to use it super often, and when it didn't work right the first time, we assumed it was something else. We replaced the bleach/dye with newer stuff, figuring that was the problem. I've used this specific product for over a decade now, so I'm more than familiar with how it works and what the results should be... And these are NOT the proper results.Since buying this, I've tried new bleach, paid extra attention to the mixture, and carefully left it in past it's allotted time (checking every ten minutes to see if it was working.) The product (mixed with bleach at the proper measurement ratio) stayed in my hair for quite literally 2 HOURS -and my hair didn't lighten so much as a single notable shade. The mixture is just this water, goopy mess, and it never thickens with the bleach as it should. Despite not seeing any change after two hours, I rinsed the product out after two hours just to be safe. No change whatsoever, my hair still felt soft and smooth after rinsing with nothing but water -it was like I never put anything in my hair at all.If you look up the name of the product, you'll find the newer bottle design. These bottles only have a shelf life of two years even if they haven't been opened. It seems that all of these bottles are pushing 3+ years now.Don't buy the version this review is attached to -buy the newer bottle. The newer bottle looks very similar, except that the level number is much larger on the front, and the text/symbols have been moved below the number (whereas the symbols are to the right of the number on the older bottles). That should prevent you from getting expired product.

This was awesome!!! In case anyone needed clarification, adding this developer to just hair color will help lift your hair color as least 4-5 shades and take the hair dye better, where standard developer in store bought hair dye is about 10 which will only lift one shade. Great value for a large amount! Would order again in the future. Shipping was quick as well!

This is a great developer that I have been using for a few years. I keep my hair platinum blonde.My only complaint is that my last bottle came partially opened and leaked into the plastic cover.

Buyer beware. Normally this product is great, but when I opened it, it was nothing but a very thin version of itself. I shook it thinking that would help, but it was still very thin.I decided to use some anyway, but it was just watery and did not provide any lift. Threw it away.

I've used this developer the last 2 times I've done my roots, I use it with olaplex (which usually lessens the strength of the developer bc it dilutes it) and my roots have come out SO GOOD with no brassiness and almost white blonde I LOVE IT. The only thing I didn't like is it took a little while to get delivered but other than that I will definitely buy this again.

I started dyeing my hair at home. My hair is a coppery auburn and my hair is extremely difficult to dye. The sample of the color I use is “Ronald McDonald” orange and with this processor My hair comes out a bright medium auburn, the closest to my natural color than I have ever been able to achieve. I have purchased it many times.

Better than Wella developer sold on Amazon! I switched to this after the Wella bottles were half water. This makes hair feel good after using and your getting a better quality.

The best developer! Been using it for almost a year now and it’s wonderful! Never had issues with yellow tints or anything. My hair always turns out nice and blonde every time! I use the developer with Blondor bleach. One bottle for me and mom lasted us over 10 months! Will continue to buy over and over again!
