Not the most heavy duty but works
I mean I feel like I could put a dent in them if I squeeze too hard but they work.

Excellent product
It should be stated that the tubing is surprisingly thin, light-gauge material. But since it's really the mounting that determines the strength of this, it makes no difference that it's ultra-thin. In fact, it probably saves them enough money in manufacturing that they could use a good stainless, which this appears to be. Keeps its bright mirror finish. AND interestingly, the thin-ness means it doesn't stay cold to the touch. One remarkable thing is that the bends are just about perfect--no indents on the inside of bends. Don't know how they do something like this, because getting smooth bends on thin tubing like this, from experience, used to be quite difficult. I ended up epoxying these to the wall rather than drilling holes in the tiles. That meant first filling the space under the slide-able cover with silicone caulking (someone had written that that was necessary to prevent rusting), letting that harden, and then filling the ends with a white 2-part epoxy paste, pressing it against the wall and cleaning off the excess, and tape-securing it to the wall 'til it hardened. Not easy, but I've mounted two so far in that manner, and it works perfectly. No drilling, and if we ever want to remove them, I supposed we can get under them with a chisel. Excellent, fully-satisfactory product which I expect will stay looking bright and shiny for a long time.

Cover plates will not stay in place.
Wish the cover plate over the mounting screws would stay in place, maybe could include a set screw. but the grab bar itself is good quality.

Okay but not great
My wall studs are 16” c/c and the only way to get at least 4 of 6 screws on the studs you have to turn the plate where 2 holes are vertical on the outside edge of each end. I blew off the other 2 inside holes because there was nothing under them and wall anchors can’t hold much weight. Came within a day. Had an extra bag of hardware like someone else said. The only other problem was getting the cap off the backplate for one of the ends. I had to put it in a vice, put a socket on top and beat it with a hammer numerous times to get it to separate. Instructions are so generic might as well just said “install “ in huge letters. Would have been as helpful. Good thing it was a simple project.

Sturdy and sleek looking
I love the black Way more than the usual brushed nickel. I bought two sets of these to put in my mothers bathroom. It came loose when we used the anchors, but if you drill it into a stud you should be fine. They were a bit smaller than I thought they would be, just shorter and skinnier in general, but I’m sure I would have known that if I just read the description better. Overall they work great, look great, and came with all of the needed pieces
