Quikey as it is, it meets my needs
It costs about half of what the only competitor costs. I set it at the bottom of a stair case in my house which is poorly lit when I turn the top light on. Now I can turn on the top light and a lamp at the bottom of the stair case also goes on. I had it for about 3 weeks and it always turns the light on at the bottom. True, i has sometime gone off and back on by itself once, and the light at the bottom stayed on for about 10 seconds after I turned the top light off. (To me this suggests the relay on the receiver end is at fault.) But all in all it has been satisfactory for this application.

Two months in and still working perfectly
This product has worked pretty well for me and done exactly what I needed it to do since I got it two months ago.Pros:- Does what it's supposed to do--turns on and off when a remote switch is turned on and off.- Responds instantlyCons:- Initially, it would turn off and back on once or twice each time it was turned on, almost like the connection wasn't super strong. It did this for the first few days, but I haven't noticed it since.- The lights on these things are super bright. We use it to turn on and off a sound sleeper, so the room is dark when we're using it. We actually had to put MULTIPLE LAYERS of duct tape over the little LEDs, because they were shining through the first layer.Overall: It was well worth it, for me. The price is just a bit steep, but much cheaper than rewiring my house, and much, much more attractive than running extension cords across the room.

Works Great!!
I've been searching for a product exactly like this for YEARS. It took seconds to install and it works beautifully. Our house was built in the 70s and they must have been smoking something when they chose the outlet to be tied into the switch -- it's usually the one closest to the switch, which is not very helpful. You really should get these into Home Depot, Bed, Bath & Beyond, etc., Costco, SmartHome.com, etc.,My only complaint is that the lights on the units shouldn't be on all the time when the switch is on,. Maybe just briefly for troubleshooting purposes. Sometimes you want to leave the light switch on, but turn the fixture off at the source (like a bed side lamp). In that case the bright LED light is annoying when you're trying to sleep. For that reason, I'm giving it 4 instead of 5 stars.

Clicks on and off even with steady power supply
In my bedroom I have a light switch that operates an outlet in a useless place. I used this as an intermediary on an always-on outlet in a better place to make a lamp controlled by the light switch. In theory, the product is great: you power on the transmitter, which sends a radio signal(?) and closes a contact in the receiver, delivering power to the designated load from a different outlet through the receiver. In practice, this product does not work. When working as intended, the contact closing is pretty loud, and it has about a 1-2 second delay from the light switch to the load activating, which is disconcerting, but not terrible. However, soon after plugging it in, I noticed that the receiver must be faulty - the receiver contact will audibly open and close, killing the power to the load (lamp in my case) for about 2 seconds. Sometimes, it clicks on and off once, othertimes it will cycle and constantly click on and off for 3-10 times. This renders the product useless for any sort of application that needs a steady power stream, such as lighting, and is also too loud to be discrete. The product is a great idea but it just doesn't work, and you can see that other customers had the same complaint as me, this is just a widespread issue most likely from cutting costs in the contact or coil in the receiver, or insufficient testing and QC.

Best item that you didn't know you needed or that it existed!
The item description is horrible, makes you wonder what it actually does unless you came to Amazon after researching the item somewhere else.Let's say you have a wall-switched outlet in your house, presumably for a lamp - and the outlet isn't anywhere near where you actually want the lamp. You plug the blue device into the outlet that is switched by the wall switch and the non-blue one into an outlet somewhere else in your room/house and plug your lamp into it. That's it! Now the wall switch will control that other lamp. You can also get extra receivers so you can switch multiple things on and off from that same light switch.Sure you can buy wifi switches or replace that existing wall switch with a wireless switch but isn't this so much easier? I don't need a dimmer, I don't need to control it with my cellphone and I don't want any more features. If it takes you more than 45 seconds to install this, you are doing it wrong!

but overall it is good enough despite being quirky (sorry
I was able to use this to avoid having to run wires through the attic for my under cabinet lighting setup in my kitchen. There is a slight amount of lag when it turns on, the relay is a bit of a loud click, and we've had it miss the wireless signal to turn off/on a few times, but overall it is good enough despite being quirky (sorry, couldn't resist).

Great Nifty Solution
I think this is perfect. Wanted to use a switch that has nothing plugged in to light up a lamp on other side of the room. It works great! I didn’t want to use my phone, or tell an Alexa or clap my hands. I just wanted to use the existing switch! I looked at similar ones with its own switch, but they are plastic white and my switch covers are painted. This solved my issue without causing additional work on my end! Thanks!!!!

Solves a problem that many other devices try to over complicate...when it works
Sometimes the remote unit will turn off the lights. It is about 15 feet away from the base so it's kinda finicky and I can't figure out why it randomly does it. Some days it is fine, others it will random flip off and a few to several seconds later, will flip back on.
