Good Size for Large People
I bought this Adventure Medical Kits' Emergency Bivvy (US$15.00, 3.8oz - 108g) as part of my emergency gear in case of any enforced overnight due to injury, inclement weather, being lost or unable to get back to base in time on a day hike. I have twinned it with the MSR E-Bivy (10oz - 255g packed), also bought here on Amazon, so for under $100 and 13.8oz / 363g I have what I hope would be adequate protection to keep me alive overnight.I am a large guy at 1.80m (5'11"), 115kgs (250lbs) and 123cm (47") chest (inflated) so I am always worried that any equipment or clothing I buy will be sized small, that is not the case with this Bivvy and I could, probably comfortably, fit my sleeping bag inside this and then all into the equally spacious MSR bivvy. It packs down extremely small and I can easily fit the AMK bivvy into the same MSR nylon stuff sack, taking up very little room indeed in the backpack. When folding it up again don't try to follow the creases from the factory packing - instead start at the bottom and fold over slowly (ca. 3" folds) expeditiously expelling all air as you go until you reach the top and then roll the long strip you now have in your hands over a few times, it might take 5 mins if you are patient and take care to expel all the air, it will however now end up as roughly the same size as when it arrived factory packed (i.e. minuscule) !More than worth it if, due to unfortunate circumstances, you find yourself unexpectedly having to stay out overnight. Hopefully I, and you, will never have to use it though !

So warm! Very light and small.
This is a onetime use item. Once to remove it from the bag it’s almost impossible to get it back in it. It’s very thin and can rip easily. Still would recommend carrying this anytime you go into the great outdoors.

Have carried one of these emergency blankets around in races for years and never had reason to use one...until a couple of weeks ago. It was freezing, started raining and my sleeping bag got wet. I was shivering and thought ok, let's try the emergency blanket and see if it works as advertised. It did! Within minutes I was totally toasty and spent the rest of the night very comfortable (too bad I'd waited about 2 hours before trying it!). Will always take this on adventure trips with me and will probably put one in the trunk of the car too...just in case!

Emergency Bivvy
Nice compact emergency mylar bivvy (sleeping bag design) in a small sack about 5"Long x 3"Diameter. Did not want to remove it from bag since it is a single-use item. Will store it in my first aid kit / survival gear to keep person warm if they go into shock or get hyperthermia. I keep emergency blankets too but I think this bag design would help retain body heat better.

Solid gear with room
This is the cornerstone of my and my family’s backcountry travel gear. The bivy is great - but the bag is twice as big so you can stuff it with other nice to have essentials for unplanned bivouacs outdoors.

but it's good protection to have on hand
Very lightweight. Hope I never have to use it for an emergency, but it's good protection to have on hand.

Great travel medical kit.
An excellent medical kit for the a car/truck. My only complaint is that it needs more bandaids. It is easy for me to put those in. There is room in the bag.
