Probably the worst salt mill / cellar I have ever had..Grinds the salt really well but then continues to leak salt out of the bottom..all over the table..work surface and then into the cupboard...apart from making a big mess have used loads of salt since I have had it...now back to buying disposable salt mills from the supermarket...so much better

We have been very pleased with both of theses grinders. The burrs work splendidly, they look attractive on the table or counter, and they are easy to refill. The only thing that would make them better is if the prepackaged salt was of better quality. Perhaps ours was old or something, but the crystals seemed a bit on the soft side which took away from their ability to grind effectively. Once we replaced the salt, however, we had no complaints whatsoever.

These are a nice set of salt and pepper mills.They don't feel any more expensive or luxurious than my previous supermarket cheap ones. The grind is a bit smoother, but it is only something I noticed because I was paying attention.Overall I found them nice and can't find anything to fault them with. If you're after a nice set then I don't think you'd go wrong purchasing these.

These are high quality salt and pepper grinders they come in a nice box to wrap up if you were going to give them as a gift. They grind the salt and pepper nicely. Their stubbyness is cute and means that they aren't going to be too dominant on your dining table.They have a nice weight to them due to the fact they are made of very thick acrylic. The stainless steel has a satin finish and I love them.

This pair of Salt and Pepper Mills from the Cole & Mason Brand are an attractive, unflashy, but subtly stylish set that would grace any dining table. I use them at mealtime, and have other salt and pepper mills that I use for cooking. The salt and pepper mills are low-rise, and not high-capacity, but I don't mind this, because it means that the contents get regularly replenished. The grinding mechanism is efficient and doesn't jam up, and I can quite heartily recommend them to those who want a salt / pepper mill that works efficiently, don't cost the earth, but have a good build standard and will hang around for a goodly while.
