My 8 year old cat suffers from FIC- a disease of unknown origin that has him peeing blood and in horrible pain when he gets stressed. We had an emergency, and my family had to leave down for an extended period. Of course Simba started peeing blood, and was a miserable kitty according to my house sitter. I promptly started the search for something that would help. I did a multi pronged approach, a new water fountain to keep him drinking, a calming treat, and this collar. The treat seems to act like catnip, and is great for when I’m home and he has stress. But the collar is the real miracle. My husband came home for a day during our emergency, and the cat normally doesn’t talk to him at all. He stuck the collar on him the day it arrived. Within 5 minutes, Simba was laying on his lap purring. Within 2 days, the pee blood was gone, and he had stopped hiding. It’s been 2 weeks now, and I returned home from the hospital 2 days ago. Simba is still loving everyone (very against his character) he doesn’t seem to be bothered by anything at all. He’s super calm, and is 100% using the litter box with no outside events. I will be buying another one shortly so I’m prepared as soon as the effects wear off. I can’t identify the scent of the collar, but it’s a pleasant smell. Our other cat Nala- Simbas BFF, also enjoys the smell, and she lays close to him and sniffs him just for fun I suppose. He’s definitely more relaxed and calm, and this collar was 100% worth the investment. I assume it probably doesn’t work for every cat, but for our issue it does.

My cat had this on for two days and was licking herself and thank god my girlfriend was home because she got the collar stuck on her tooth and almost hung herself while she was running around. This collar IS NOT a break away collar and we had to physically cut it off. I would never buy this again and I would definitely never leave the cat unattended with it on.

I've been struggling with my adopted cat for 4 months now. She is very anxious, unsociable, sensitive to noise and scared of anything foreign or new (people, objects, food bowls, toys- yes even toys!). She is afraid of my boyfriend- she will growl, hiss, bat or scratch or avoid and run away whenever he is in the room. She is very aggressive towards his cat who is mellow and older- she growls, tries to get at him from under his door when I separate them, and tries to outright attack him on the few occasions they were accidentally in the same room. When I reintroduce her to his cat, afterwards she gets in such a bad mood that she takes it out on me and scratches and bites my leg. These months have been so stressful and have strained my relationship with my bf and his cat. It was so bad that I was wondering if I had to rehome her, which i really didn't want to do as she was already abandoned by her previous owners. I've tried everything natural- ventoquinol, CBD, flower essence, plug in pheromones, slow introductions, but not meds. Nothing worked like this collar has. She's a different cat. She's mellow, relaxed, able to be like a normal, well-adjusted cat that is curious and non-hostile about her environment. The very first day, yesterday, she was very relaxed on the couch with me, like sleepy looking, and she allowed my boyfriend to pat her and sit next to her. She has NEVER done this. Today, I put the harnass on her and did a reintro with my bf's cat. She growled once but when I let her explore his room, she actually did and sniffed around his things, made a little mew sound occasionally. But instead of fixating on him the entire time, she actually checked out his room. She also didn't lunge for him like usual. This is just the first 2 days and it pretty much worked within the first hour. Amazed. Seriously, thank you for making this collar. I hope it lasts the 4 weeks as stated. I did get a voucher for a $20 gift card to Amazon if I filled out a five-star review, but honestly, I was going to do that anyway given the miraculous results. I wish I found this collar 4 months ago.

Our 6 year old male started peeing outside the box. Specifically, on the couch, our bed, and pillows. We took him to the vet repeatedly for the same course of medicine that did not seem to do anything. The vet said it was likely stress - we recently moved and had a baby. He seemed his normal self (you would not have called him a stressed out cat AT ALL) but we were getting to our wits' end.I read lots of calming collar reviews and chose this one due to the number of positive reviews plus the fact that it has a safety release (extremely important to me). The scent is light, like eucalyptus - makes me think of a spa. And the collar was very easy to put on with no resistance from kitty.Let me tell you there has not been ONE SINGLE INCIDENT of peeing outside the box since he started wearing this collar! Magic and inexpensive magic at that. So grateful!

So, after reading a lot of the reviews and deciding that it was time to give it a try, I bought this collar. The pheromone scents from diffusers sorta work, but my poor old girl (9 next year) just wasn't having it when we brought in a stray a month ago who looked like he was having a rough time of being outside and we couldn't find an ID chip, the vet gave him a clean bill of health. So, we decided to add him to our number. Two years ago, we brought in another cat from the pet shelter, and she made my oldest go crazy at the time. Eventually, she accepted the new kitty from the shelter after many unpleasant months. We didn't want to go through that all over.So, we bought this collar. After she had worn it for about a week, I noticed her demeanor shifting ever so slightly to being at least less hostile overall towards the stray. There must be some sort of cat voodoo going on with this collar because, while it didn't just "immediately" calm her down, she has over time gotten much better with the stray, the only male cat in the house. And much faster than how long it took for her to get used to the second cat we brought in from the shelter, since we didn't use this collar or any other collar to assist. So, I can safely say that if you are like me and you are at your wit's end, give this collar a try. I might end up getting another one once the scent for this one wears off if I notice a decline in her behavior. Only time will tell.
