A tiny, shiny 3-in-1
I purchases the UV light model. I have had pretty good luck with it - I think relative to the size (slightly more round but shorter than a lifesavers roll) it is awesome. I have brighter lights... but none in this size and none with a CRI this good. I haven't noticed any PWM/flicker - I had read that some predecessors to this light may have demonstrated mild cases of this. The only thing I'd knock is that the micro-usb cover doesn't seem to want to stay 100% seated. I carry it in a jacket pocket, so perhaps that is due to bumping against car keys, etc. I like it enough that I got two more for friends. I think for those that don't want the UV version -- there's a variant that uses a red light instead of UV (useful for stargazing or aviation).

Nice light but wouldn't trust in pocket, no lockout
Nice edc light, bright for it's size, 600 mAh battery capacity so brightness limited to bursts, no lockout feature

Neat flashliht, not the best battery
I really like the different features this flashlight had, but the battery could be better. It appears to have decent build quality and it's fairly bright.

Great compact light
Good output and easy to use UI

Buy the A8x-UV instead.
I like the GITD accents in the electronics.Literally everything else looks like a bad joke compared to their own A8X UV. I can't believe they are charging MORE for this light.

Disappointed
When this flashlight was in its prime it was an easy 5 stars. However, not maybe a month after owning it did I encounter a fatal flaw in either design or a defective batterry or charging chip (if that's what it is). Now what happens is I will plug it in and it will show the red light meaning it's low and is charging. I'll wait and when it turns blue indicating full battery I'll unplug and use it a little bit. I use it a little bit then leave it alone and then the very next time trying to use its completely dead.... Nothing, not even one lumen of power. Then charge it again and same thing. Useless basically and I've had it just a few months now maybe. Saddened because I really loved it and wanted this light to work for the long haul.

ISSUE GETTING EVEN WORSE!!!
My rating has gone from a 2 to a 1, I was contacted about this products button failing and asked to send proof which I did, then they asked me if I would like a replacement housing to fix it myself which I agreed to, then Runfree asked me to confirm one more time at which point my emails keep bouncing back. They email me saying they will only send if I confirm (which I already did) but now my emails don't reach them!!! In the meantime another flashlight I bought along with this one also broke! RovyVon is turning into an awful company.... DON'T BUY!!!!

DOA
Doesn't work at all right out of the box. It lights up to charge (red) but then goes blue shortly after indicating the battery is full. No matter what pattern I use on the switch, it won't turn on.
