Regatta Women's Safiyya Waterproof & Breathable Down-touch Insulated Faux Fur Hooded Winter Jacket

I like this jacket, it is of good quality and is warm and cosy. The colour is more of a bright purple/plum than the claret colour that the picture suggests. I'm 5 ft 8 and 10st. I usually buy size 10 in all coats and never have an issue. This however, seemed more 8/10 and whilst it fitted and I could get a jumper underneath, I'd have liked just a smidge more room. I did order a size 12 (from elsewhere) but it was much too big and looked shapeless. After much deliberation I kept the 10 and have been reasonably satisfied with it, but do feel it rides up a bit when I walk. I also find the zip is awkward, sometimes I'm faffing around for ages which is really frustrating. I like the long sleeves and that the cuff can be pulled down over my hands to keep them warm on cold days when I've forgotten my gloves.

I bought this coat for touring round Iceland and it definitely kept me cosy. It’s really well made and looks good too. The only thing for me which lets it down is the sizing - the sleeves are very long which is a shame as it does make it look more bulky. I am only 5’2” so it might not be a problem if you’re taller. It would be so good if Regatta offered a size 6 or a petite option!!

I was looking for a warm & waterproof coat, with a decent hood.This coat comes with a zip off detachable faux fur trim, and the without the trim it still covered my head.The cuff lengths were fairly long (the ribbed cuff covered most of the back of my hand).It has an internal elasticated cord to pull the coat in at the waist, but I would have needed it tighter than it could go to give me any shape in the size I ordered.This coat felt warm indoors when I tried it on. It did arrive smelling somewhat musty, which was disappointing, however I found the sizing on the larger size (I have two other regatta coats) so I will be returning for a smaller size.

I had to replace my 5 year old Didrickson coat and after looking for something similar for over 2 years I was starting to lose hope. The Regatta jacket caught my eye for the length and reviews and a great price. Over the moon with it. I ordered a couple of sizes up after reading the reviews but had to send it back and get my actual size and there is still plenty of room for a couple of layers. It’s warm, waterproof and fast drying and I’ve certainly tested it with the recent weather. The fur trim on the hood is also a lovely quality. It looks super expensive too.

Coat is absolutely brilliant, just what my wife needed. However when the lower zipper was damaged, shut in car door, the Regatta customer service was unhelpful, offered no repair service, had to sort out ourselves, all that was required was a replacement original zipper to install ourselves, they were unable to supply the product and offered no repair facility. Coat was only a couple of weeks old and second time it was used.

I absolutely love this coat, everything about it is good, the only thing I would advise anyone is to buy the size larger than usual, it is cosy, the hood fits nicely and is adjustable, and the coat looks and feels good, I like the fact that I can take off the fur trim to the hood, the coat is warm without being heavy, nice length, not a bum freezer, but not below the knees either, I think the coat is just perfect in every way, also looks good when being worn

Fast delivery. Coat is lovely I’d say slightly on the larger side so could go a size down. The colour is very purple! Lovely & warm. Hood is a decent size. Not worn in the rain yet so can’t comment on how waterproof it is. Bargain compared to the regatta sale price! Loads cheaper.
