I recently purchased a 2002 Rav4 and hated the stock headunit. Decided to purchase the atoto A6 pro, along with this android auto unit, A6Y harness, front camera, rear reverse camera. So far everything works great. There was a small hiccup with installing this dongle, but atoto walked me through it on how to install it. I guess I didnt read the instructions correctly. There is a file already in the dongle so you dont need to download anything. Works really well now. I use waze and spotify everyday. I'm using this dongle with the Samsung Note10 plus, so it does work with the newer phones. I would recommend this kit and also the A6 pro. Customer service is on point. A+

I have Android phone and I never got the product to work despite following instructions. It just said loading phone indefinitely. They returned and gave money back with no issues.Keep in mind the product says Wireless Carplay but WIRED Android Auto. So wireless Android Auto definitely doesn't work.Maybe this will work better with IPhones and Carplay, but I wouldn't recommend it if you have Android Auto and Atoto A6. It is better to just use the Easy Connection App for wired and wireless Android connection in the new Atoto models where touchscreen on Atoto A6 works to control phone anyway.

With this added to my Atoto radio it makes it almost perfect. Now I get in the car and without plugging in or doing anything my radio goes right to Apple Car Play. Sometimes it might take a minute to connect but it does connect. Other times it connects right away.Now for the issues.1 - The extra USB port coming out of the unit is useless as far as I can tell. I cannot hook my phone to it for charging or anything. So why is it even there.2 - Phone calls. When I get a call I have to change my blue tooth connection to the Atoto radio or I cannot hear the call. This may be user error but I have not figured out how to default to the Atoto or to get call audio through this.Other than those 2 gripes I think it is great and would still recommend it.

The radio itself is pretty slow to use. I wish it had an actual volume button instead of a touch sensor. The car play adapter is janky and disconnects often. I use it for maps, but I don’t play music through it cause it disconnects. If I had to do it all over again, I’d choose a different model.

Works great ! Plugged in, installed software, connected my Android phone, and it works right away. Make sure read the directions, there is software to install for Android. Also, make sure you use a high quality USB cable. I had to dig through my pile to find one. This is not an atoto issue, the transmission just needs a good cable and all brands of adapters will have this same issue.

Had some initial issues to download the software but their email-based tech support based in China responded quickly within 2hrs. After I downloaded the software, I still had ocasional dropouts but the tech support guided me on how to upgrade the device firmware. After that, it has worked flawlessly! Connects within 1 minute. The Atoto radio+ CarPlay adapter low cost, good quality alternative.

Does not auto connect. Causes issues all the time. Not impressed
