Works as advertised for a fair price. The glass shelf was heavier than expected, but I think that's a good thing as it does not feel cheap. The mount includes drywall anchors, which I was hesitant to use due to the weight of the shelf. However, I wanted it centered under the TV and a stud was not available. The 3 anchors, lined up vertically, actually seem to provide plenty of support for the shelf and blu ray player. Installation only took a few minutes and it was easy to level, but you will need your own level. Overall, I am happy with the product and it does exactly what it is supposed to.

worked well, easy to mount and came with all the needed hardware. It is a little shallow, works well for my particular DVD player but be sure you measure to make sure yours will fit.

This shelf has a great look mounted on my wall under my flat screen tv. The black glass is very stylish and well shaped. HOWEVER, the description says that it is large enough to support a dvd or audio player and I have found the glass shelf to be a little too small to support my Time Warner Cable DVR (Cable Box). My DVR overhangs the shelf on the front and both sides of the glass. Since the glass shelf rests against the wall with no gap, there is no room for power cords to pass between the wall and back edge of the glass. The means that the device sitting on the shelf will have to be pushed out slightly in order for the cable(s) to plug into the back of the unit. I may have to install some kind of strap around the DVR in order to keep it from sliding off the shelf. Installation is straight-forward, but the mounting bolts suck! Three large holes (3/8 inch) must be drilled into the wall in order to install the plastic bungs for the screws to screw into. Then you will find that all the bungs do is spin and not spread out like they are supposed to in order to tighten against the inside of the sheet rock. I wasn't lucky enough for there to be a wall stud behind where I needed to mount this shelf. Had there been a wall stud the install would have been just fine, but I wasn't that lucky. I ended up going to Lowes to purchase better anchors to complete the install.

I purchased this product to mount a subwoofer under my wall mounted TV. I opted for this placement because I HATE EXPOSED WIRES and my outlet is directly under the tv. By mounting the sub in this fashion, I'm able to hide the outlet and plug, running a surge protector behind it.Please note: The sub is a Vizio, and it's only a cube of about 10" per side and does not weigh very much. I'm confident it will work for my purposes, but I don't think I would go very heavy on anything placed on the shelf. The supports radiate from the wall mounting bracket about 3" and from an engineering standpoint I'm cautious because the physics just don't seem to add up. I'm also aware of the strength of tempered glass, so we'll see.The reason I didn't give it five stars is because I found the Phillips head screws begin to strip when I was screwing them into the wall stud.

Very easy to hang and works well. I will say it could be improved by the following:1. Having a cut out in the back that would allow easier cord management (for hiding, etc.)2. The shelf could be a bit deeper to accommodate a satellite TV box better (although it works)3. The brackets under the shelf could extend a bit further to stabilize the shelf a bit better (again, not a deal breaker but it could improved).

The mount itself looks great and is a breeze to install (hence the 5-star rating). However, it will probably be too small for most people's needs. Even if you have a very small DVD/Blu-Ray player, as I do, the wires protruding from the back will require you to leave a several inch gap between the device and the wall. I find that my small Blu-Ray player is creeping towards the edge of the mount and doesn't look particularly sleek, which was the whole purpose of a small mount. Just keep that in mind, measure the dimensions, and make sure you can fit everything you need.

It's unfortunate that this shelf is decribed that it can be used to wall mount a DVR. The problem is the DVR fits perfectly but the shelf size does not account for any room in the back of the unit for cables! Forget about all the mess of cables in my photo but try and imagine room for the fiber optic cable connection (that cable doesn't bend) or the power cable. This was a waste of money. It's a solid, well made shelf but not for the purpose of a DVR.

This item is made of good materials however after installing it in the wall you notice the forward tilt. We had to put nickels in the bracing to force it to straighten out. Most important the shelf is not actually able to hold any components because it is not deep enough... the PS4, the dvd player and the Satellite DVR won't fit because the powercords make them hang off the front edge. We didn't want to remove it and leave giant holes in our wall so it's still there and holding just the remotes.
