Caveat Emptor <-- Buyer beware.
There is an instruction book for the transmitter radio. No instructions for the receiver (earbud). Transmitter radio would not hold a charge for more than 15 minutes. When I finally got the earpiece to receive a transmission from the radio, it was barely audible and scratchy. Fooled around with the thing for 3 hours and finally put it all back in the box with a hope that I can return it.
