Moisture and Strength Conditioner - No Sulfates, Parabens, or Silicones

I feel conflicted about this shampoo and conditioner.  They seem nice, but are a very poor fit for me. I have a lot of hair, but it's fairly fine; wavy-to-curly, down past my waist.I like the intent and the ingredients.  There's a nice, "natural" smell--pleasant, herbal, not perfumey.  Felt good.  Felt cleansing.I gave it over a month.  It's just too much for my hair. The shampoo is too stripping, I guess.  Very drying. I felt like the conditioner weighed my hair down a lot, even when I rinsed it out well.  Essentially they made my hair flat and straightened the curl significantly.  It just seemed to get worse over time. I was so frustrated after those several weeks that I honestly was kind of hating my hair, worried that it was turning listless as I've gotten older.  (I'm 43, it could happen already.)In an act of desperation I spent waaay too much money on fancy shampoo and condition (by IGK) and my hair has been reborn.  I'm still learning to work with the new products, but there was an immediate improvement.I hope this shampoo and conditioner work for other people.  I think the company has their heart in the right place, and I like their dry shampoo, and my scalp seems to like the growth spray.

I am very picky about natural shampoos because quite frankly they don’t always make my scalp feel clean after I dry my hair. I was skeptical about buying this shampoo and conditioner because it sounded too good to be true so I did what any good mom would do, I ordered it for my daughter who is a new mother and a nurse who has little time to shampoo her hair everyday. I knew her review would tell me all I needed to know. She loved it! I ordered it for myself and wow wee. It lathers without horrible chemicals and it smells so wonderful. You have to shake the shampoo bottle before each use to mix the ingredients which proves there are no preservatives to clog your pores. You can actually feel this shampoo tingle and work! It doesn’t burn or sting but feels go good. Like an itch you can’t reach. Following with the conditioner is simply a treat. The smell is very clean but not overpowering. I am so happy with this product I ordered the thickening spray and dry shampoo. I cannot say enough about how honest and good these products are. My husband has severe psoriasis that often leave open cuts in his scalp and he is able to use this with no complaints. Matter of fact is helps the itching and redness. If the price makes you cringe a little know that you use much less than you would normally and it lasts a long time. Go on, treat yourself, you deserve it!

I have used Hair Dance products for a couple years (to the best of my recollection) and I've been hoping a conditioner would eventually come out. This was worth the wait. I have fine, oily hair that is becoming thin, so I'm very careful and conscious of what I use on my hair. Conditioners are often too heavy if they're moisturizing enough, which leaves me with a limp mess. I typically condition only my ends before I shampoo (this can be really beneficial for fine, oily hair) and that works beautifully with this. I only condition every 2nd or 3rd time I wash and this is incredibly emollient so I only need a small amount (about the size of a small marble), so this will last me a really long time. Based on my routine with these products (usually washing every other or 3rd day), the dry shampoo, leave-in conditioner, and hair & root stimulator last me 6+ months, the shampoo lasts about 2-3, and this conditioner may very well last me a year. This smells like the spray leave-in conditioner (lemongrass) and leaves my hair so manageable and tangle-free. I can pull a comb through it right out of the shower - this is not a regular occurrence for me. This isn't a too-thick consistency like you'd find with a heavy-duty conditioner or hair mask, it's just rich and incredibly moisturizing, and I can only imagine the wonders it would work on dry or damaged hair. For oily and/or thinner hair, be really careful not to use too much; I did the first time and, while I couldn't stop petting myself, it definitely was too hydrating for my hair and I wasn't able to skip a wash the next day. I can't recommend these products highly enough. And Anna's customer service can't be beat.

Bought this on a whim having no idea if it would work for my hair. I have fine, thick density, highlighted, dry, naturally wavy hair that is a huge pain for find good products for. I used it as per the instructions, and found that the mist format made it hard to apply to my hair evenly. I found that once my hair dried, it might have helped moisturize it a little bit, but it didn’t seem to pack much of a punch now that the weather is colder and my hair is constantly being exposed to dry air. I feel like this would have been great for my virgin hair during the warmer months, but in its bleached state this leave in doesn’t quite do the job. The scent is okay, like a lemongrass-y essential oil smell. I’m not the biggest fan, but I also don’t hate it. All in all, I’d say if you have fine, thin, oily or short hair, this would probably be perfect for you. Otherwise, I wouldn’t recommend it.

The consistency, the feel, smell and overall result is fantastic. I was referred by a friend to this and I haven't turned back. It feels better than the chemical ridden brands but this is great knowing I'm using all natural ingredients on my hair.This is especially important to me ands I'm pregnant and don't want to have chemicals on my body.I highly recommend this shampoo/conditioner duo! Two days later andsnd my hair still feels and looks great!
