Everything you're looking for and more
I've bought and never used dozens of journals, this one's different.Great quality, excellent content, well thought-out.The quality surpasses my admitted high expectations for the $25 price point. And the content, everything from the way the they designed the habit tracker and one-line-per-day sections to the stock of the pages to the pocket in the back. All of it was thoroughly impressive. The dotted pages give you the ability to design your pages how you want, but while many journals have these they're sometimes not easily divided into thirds, halves or quarters... this journal not only evenly divides into these sections but beautifully and subtly marks where to begin drawing your line to do so.It's like it was designed by someone like me (who bought and started but never consistently used journal after journal) but who reformed and figured put exactly what they needed from a journal.I highly recommend you join or start a book club in which you read Atomic Habits and that you purchase an enjoyable quality pen so that you can get the natural motivation to regularly use this like I did. But more importantly I'm here to tell you that, yes, this is the one you've been looking for.The pen I fell in love with was:Black Forest Fountain Pen Fine Nib Classic Design with Converter by Hongdian

Great for productivity and note taking
The media could not be loaded. Great material for a note book. Feels high quality. If you read the James Clear Atomic Habits book is a nice book to have to practice some of the stuff he was teaching. The main thing I like about the book is the back where you can track your habits. Once I started running out of pages I made a spreadsheet on my computer where I track my habits.I do like taking notes in the notebook as well.

A unique and highly useful journal & habit tracker!
This is an excellent journal and resource for people wishing to track/change their habits. Presented in a black box, this book has a hard cover, two ribbon bookmarks, and it opens flat - it has a high-end, stylish look. Some of the other features of this book include: numbered pages, a one-line-per-day section, 12 habit trackers, and an inner pocket. The feature that sets this journal apart from others, is the "Habit Toolkits" in the last section. In this part, step-by-step guides are presented, to help you use the journal to it's fullest (templates for tracking your habits, methods to help you make better decisions, ideas for improving your productivity and time management, and page layouts to track your health and fitness). Although this journal is a little pricey, I think it is still an excellent resource and a good value. I recommend this product. Please mark if you find my review helpful. Thank you so much!

Exactly what I wanted.... on the inside.
The media could not be loaded. Like the title says, EXACTLY what I've been looking for on the inside. With my plain dotted journal I did the 1-line a day, daily journaling/to-do, and habit tracking but as the journal was blank with dots I'd have to template it all myself - this journal does each of those wonderfully. I enjoy how it's laid out and I like that most of it is a plain dotted notebook, that's exactly what I was looking for. Every journal I've had that is *too structured* on the day by day pages was not to my liking. The one-star reviews that don't like this simply had incorrect expectations.BUT while it looks to be a really nice journal when you first get it, the cover fabric holds onto every fuzz and pet hair it comes in contact with. Out of the box clean it's by far the nicest looking journal I've had but after a few weeks it's just...hairy.While I do like that it has two bookmarks, they're too short and sometimes won't even stick out at the bottom.I also miss that it does not have a pen holder. All that being said, no pen holder, the ribbons are too short, and the outside fabric isn't to my liking.... it's the best journal I've found for my needs thus far and I would purchase again.

Comes With Thinking Tools
After reading Atomic Habits, I felt my goals were actually achievable for the first time in a long. I bought this journal for my birthday and was so excited to use it. The best part are the tools at the back of the book. I had heard of these tools from other books over the years but never sat down and actually put them into practice (Ivy Lee Method, Eisenhower Matrix, etc). Having them spelled out made it so easy to finally sit down and do the work. Do yourself a favor and get one of these.

An investment
The habit journal is worth the price. It strikes a balance between professional and self guidance. The extra grid dot pages provides space for a personal touch! Most books restrict what you can do. This allows me to follow the Atomic Habit approach and add things such as a self drawn goal card to help track my habits. I highly recommend!

Poor Print Quality
I really wanted to love this journal, and it has many useful aspects, but I have ordered two of these journals and both have very poor print quality. As seen in the photo, the dots on the pages start out great but the bulk majority of pages (page 26-154) have dots that are nearly invisible. The + and - that are a key selling point of this journal are indistinguishable from the dots at the low tone print quality. The time it takes to find them is equal to the time it would take to use a standard dot journal and count out the dots to make the page divisions. I truly could not imagine how someone with nearsightedness issues would be able to use this journal.Find a new journal manufacturer and call me. I would love to use this journal but the print quality is a no go.
