You don’t always get what you pay for, but in this case $1000 buys you an incredibly well-made, sturdy, high-quality table base. The wide base is made of 1cm thick aluminum plate and is very stable. The gas piston stanchion easily lifts a 40 lb table top. If your table top is in the 30-40 lb range, you can raise and lower it with just a few fingers of effort, smoothly and easily. There’s nothing not to like about it, except maybe the price. But if you are willing to pay top dollar, then you can at least be confident you’re getting the best here.

This is a great product. Doesjust what it is supposed to do but quite pricey. It cost almost 3 times wha the table top was that I had to attach to it but all in all everything came out very well
