Upstar P240WT 24-Inch 1080p LED TV

I ordered this tv to replace my 13inch tube tv which is in a very small area: 6 feet by 6 feet to give you an idea. I have a small table and chair in this area. The tv is placed on a small coffee table which is below the table that I sit at and the coffee table is placed against the wall with the table that I sit at placed against the other wall. This tv fits this area perfectly for me. The tv stand is on a stationary slant upward approximately at an 45 degree angle which works out just fine since the small coffee table is below the table that I sit at. This is the first tv I have ever owned which has 2 power switches: one on the top of the tv and then the main power switch along the bottom of the tv's screen. Once the main power switch is turned on, you only need to use the power switch on the remote or on the top of the tv to turn it on and off.The picture quality is crisp, clear, and perfect. The menu is very easy to use. The remote is long but covers every possible function needed for the tv. I have not experienced any negatives apart from the sound quality. Yes the sound quality is very poor even in such a small area so beware if you plan on using the tv's speakers for your audio. I have never used the tv speakers on any of the televisions I have ever owned because I always hook up external spearkers for rich sound quality. In this case, I had a very old compact and cheap dvd & radio system from years ago that I no longer used. I hooked up the speakers from the tv's av out to the dvd system's aux in & it didn't work, so this could be an issue with the tv's a/v out jacks. However, instead of returning the tv since everthing else works, I chose to use the headset jack on the tv and to connect it to the dvd system's aux in & the sound is beautiful! Fortunately, I have all types of connectivity jacks that I keep on hand just for this reason (and plus I'm always rigging up something or splitting something for better sound quality). The sound is literally beautiful and I didn't even have to customize the equalizer on the tv instead I leave it on the rock sound setting. The digital tuner works fine once I hooked it up to an old Phillips amplified antenna (-the tv is located in this small area without any windows but I am able to get my HD channels due to the amplified antenna but mainly I use my Roku when I'm in this area).Yes I recommend this tv if:a. you plan on using it in a small area due to it only being a 24" screenb. if you will hook external speaker(s) to itc. if you are okay with it being on a stationary 45 degree angle upward

Came as listing stated, I have only used as a monitor, the buttons are a little difficult have to use some muscle! I don't use remote which would solve this issue.

This TV does not have a good picture and the volume is a lot to low. I was unable to adjust the volume on the TV and the picture is really dark. This is the second one I received. The first one I got it would not come on. The second one has a very little volume and the picture is really dark.

The TV works fine. The audio quality is tinny, even for a small set, but you either get used to it or you can hook up an old pair of computer speakers to mellow it out a bit. Biggest issue was the base. It makes the screen tilt up like you were supposed to set it on the little fridge in your dorm room or something. If that's your life, you're in business. Worse, though, is that the base mounting design looks for all the world like it should allow for adjusting the degree of tilt. It doesn't-- so be careful not to force it or you may snap it. Because I wanted my set on my dresser I wound up propping up the rear of the base with a paperback book to get it to a more typical 90 degree position.

Bought used for 68 and use it for a busted screen laptop and sometimes directv genie movie! for the price, it works great! It had busted cover plastic that I black duct taped back over (didn't hurt performance). I haven't had it that long and waiting to see if I get my monies worth! easy to use remote and set up! will update if needed

this was easy to setup,remote easy to use,i enjoy the clarity of the picture,it actually looks better than my larger screen tv.

You better check with your cable provider before you purchase this TV. I am not able to hook up my TV with the provider. The provider does not have this TV in their catalog of products. I can hook it up in a round about way but am unable to use the remote provided by the cable company. I can use their remote to change cable channels but will have to keep the original remote to turn the TV off and on. I don't like having all those remotes.

Works great. Very happy with this tv. Everything went the way it should. Next time I need electronics I will order again.
