Works well
Dash cam comes with everything you need to install it and hide the wires throughout your car. I was considering hard wiring it to a fuse behind the dash, but the wires are not that noticeable if you take your time hiding them. I would say it took about 30-45 minutes to install both cameras and hide the wires very very well. I could have done it in 5-10 minutes with minimal wire hiding effort, but it looks so much better with wires hidden well. You can only see a few inches of wire going up from the camera to where they disappear in the roofing behind the rear view mirror. I have a hatchback, so you can see a bit of wiring in the back too because of the unavoidable transition to the hatch back window. You have to pull some panels off a bit to hide the wires, but they give you a great little orange tool to help. It's very easy, and the panels snap right back on once you are done. I'm sure you could pay a local mechanic to do it for you, but it's simple enough to do yourself. They have a nice app you can use to view and save videos, but hopefully I will never have to use it! Would recommend/buy again.

Company Out of Business
I bought two of these. Had one professionally installed on 12/18/23. Went to set it up only to find out that the software (AQPCAM) is not available ANYWHERE for download IOS or Android. This renders the camera useless!A total waste of money and time.

Excellent choice for a must have device.
First dash cam purchase & very pleased. Easy to install, navigate and operate. I use it in my work truck as I'm in it all day every day driving around Houston Tx. 2cd day after installing it in my truck I was rear ended by some moron focused on her phone in her lap rather than the road. Didn't think I'd need it seeing I was rear ended and it was clear what happened. Cops cited her for failure to maintain control of a motor vehicle and we went on our way. 2 days later I find out from my boss this woman is telling her adjuster that I negligently cut her off and she didn't have time to stop. Trying to deflect blame on me... So my boss informed them I have camera footage. I only have the forward facing camera installed at the moment but it tells the true story as it shows that I in fact did not cut her off. I didn't even change lanes. I was in the same lane for 3 minutes, about 2 miles before the collision doing 55-60mph. She hit me while I was slowing due to traffic at about 25mph knocking me partially into the right lane. She was the one changing lanes and decided to do it while staring at her phone and didn't notice traffic slowing ahead. Lol.. So, thankfully the camera tells the truth and this woman's insurance is now repairing our company truck. She insisted we handle things privately instead of through insurance and didn't want to wait for the cops. I've been down a similar road before and the best advice I could give on the subject is to always call the cops, always get a report, and always go through the insurance. Give someone a chance to escape accountability and they will every single time. Don't ever trust another driver you were in an accident with, ever. Thankfully this camera proves without any doubt she's responsible. Without it we may be in a pinch right now because of her bs. These cams are, in my opinion an absolute must. Will never drive without one again.

Good quality cam. Happy with purchase.
Edit: rear camera stopped recording. Retrospectively, I wouldn't have got it. As expensive as it is, you would expect it to work longer. Love Amazon returns!!! Wont buy from this seller again. We have bought about three dashcams in the last year or two, one of which was due to a wreck. I would much rather have one than not. Its better to have one on the rear as well, just in case you get into the common he pulled out in front of me scam. Wish this one had been installed!Anyways, this dashcam is very basic, a camera which mounts on the front of the windshield, adjustable angle. Turn it and see what it looks like before you apply the sticky tape to the glass. It is powered with a cable going to the cigarette lighter. I ran ours under the headliner, down the side of the pillar, under the glovebox on the passengers side. Rather easy to not have to remove the trim at all because of the tool they included. Like a little pry bar. The rear camera plugs into the front camera. It was weird at first with the red wire, but I watched a few youtube videos and figured it out it would go to the reverse light on the truck, conveniently located just where I needed it! There was plenty of slack. It powers right on and off with the truck. The screen is clear and easy to see. The control menu is easy to use once you get used to it. Overall, I am very happy with it. Oh, make sure you get a MicroSD card made specially for the dashcams! It wasn’t hard to install and works great!

Somewhat confusing instruction book - and a couple of (minor) issues
While setting up the cameras (front and back) was pretty much intuitive and aided by the instruction book, there were significant, missing pieces of information in it. First, there is a red wire attached to the rear camera connection. The instructions made no mention of it at all. It looks like the kind of wire to use in hard-wiring; however, there is nothing to which to attach it. Once I hooked up the rear camera, I have just let the red wire dangle in place just in case it serve some hopefully inconsequential purpose, after which I will tuck it away or cut it off.Second, there is no mention in the instructions that there is a card inserted in the camera. I pushed on it, and sure enough one popped out. I did go ahead and purchase a 64 because I want more loop-time. However, knowing that there is a card by reading the instructions ahead of setting things up would have been useful.Third, the default date is one day off the actual date, and there appears to be no way to change it. That could be significant if I ever need to use the video in case of an accident or such.Overall, set up and installation were easy. Because my car has one of those screens that come up in the back window to block the sun, I needed to be careful to locate the rear camera in a place where it would not interfere with the screen.I recommend this product and am, so far, satisfied with its performance. Of course, I have had it for only three or four days, and I hope my satisfaction continues.
