Traditional Pepper Mill 723 - Turnkey High Volume Salt and Gourmet Peppercorn Grinder (White)

I was given a white PepperMate mill 35 years ago. I have used it everyday and several times a day for pepper grinding. This grinder is incredible, it is still working like new, never a problem. I have purchased at least 10 for friends and family and recommended it to anyone who complains about their grinders only working for a year or two. This grinder is not cheap but it is worth every penny.

Tired of cheapo grinders and mill, I was looking for a compact kitchen mill and found this after reading a few reviews. This has been a great product and worked well and produces a large quantity of pepper with just a few turns of the relatively large knob. The catcher allows you to measure or perhaps have a little on hand.I don't adjust the grind that often, there is an internal adjustment knob and while it's not the best design, it certainly gets the job done. I rate this a 'find'.

I purchased the peppermill based on the user reviews which gave it very high marks. I like it a lot. I purchased one in white and one in black for salt and pepper. They are easy to use. They grind coarse and less coarse with little effort and I like the plastic bottom which you can grind into and measure out what you need. My husband thinks they're okay but not great. I think he's just pissed off because I threw the old ones in the recycling bin. In my defense, they were broken.

I had HOPED to finally find THE pepper grinder and bought this based on reviews. I have gone through many pepper grinders and this one will be added to the pile! I am convinced that without a metal grinding mechanism ANY mill is doomed to fail. This pepper grinder is expensive and it should be the last one you have to buy...but it won’t be. You CANNOT GET A COURSE GRIND, as in “would you like some fresh cracked pepper.” IF I’m mistaken someone correct me. The metal grinding mechanism is where it’s at!

Wish it was sturdier. Have had mine for 6 years but starting falling apart after 2 years. Now can't use it at all. And it's not like I use it every day. I had a wooden one for many years. I'll go back to that.

Ordered this and and was very disappointed in the product. The lid is to loose and keeps falling off, resulting in getting to much salt in your cooking.

Great Customer service on top of a Fantastic pepper grinder. You can fine tune the grind, and it keeps pepper fresh. The efficient dispenser does not leave pepper grinds in my pantry shelf. Some may find it tedious to remove base each time, but I think it is a great way to grind a tsp and use in recipes. I don't find the crank any harder to turn than a tradition twist grinder. I have used this product for about 25 years... original was a gift from my mother in law who went to Le Cordon Bleu and swears by the device now in her 70's. I have purchased about 6 of them over the years, due to damaging it in the kitchen -- but they hold up and last a long time if you don't drop them on a hard floor or melt them on the stove top.

As suggested, I had one 30 years ago. It's the easiest mill you will ever own. 1. No batteries. You don't need them. 2. The grinding mechanism is reliable. You'll get a consistent grind each and every time. I kind of figure that pepper and garlic and onions oughtn't be measured carefully, but because of the catchment at the bottom, you could easily grind and measure the pepper you want.It just plain works well.

Best pepper grinder you can buy! 5 grinds equals 1/2 tsp.

I was hoping this would have lasted longer than it did for the money. It's a cheaply made, expensive to buy chunk of plastic with a piece of ceramic somewhere inside (supposedly). Definitely not the kind of ceramic used in industry, I can tell you that!It was purchased in July 2018 and it's now Feb 2022. Around 3 ½ years of use. My parents had a salt and pepper mill that was given to them as a wedding present in 1953 and they were still going strong until the last time I saw them around 2008. I don't realistically expect that kind of quality anymore but why, as a consumer, shouldn't I be able to?Even after the first month this thing was coming apart at the seam and the plastic cup on the bottom wouldn't stay on anymore. Up until it broke into two pieces a couple of days ago with pepper corns rolling around all over the floor the grinding was very difficult. It's not repairable. The tool had it pretty easy here since we don't use it every day.Not impressed. I gave it one star for each year we were able to use it before it self-destructed.

Bought this to replace a twenty year old one that had broken due to my own carelessness. It is the best pepper grinder on the market in my opinion.
