I've had bars that I'd swear were just compressed sawdust. These aren't that bad but they aren't great. They taste like better-than-average compressed sawdust with a chocolately flavor. [Update: the fact is, I keep eating these; so, they can't be all that bad. In fact, I sort of enjoy them when I'm hungry and they are very filling. So, I'll upgrade to 4 stars.]

These are DELICIOUS. And non-GMO. But just like wheat & other non-organic grains, oats are saturated with the herbicide Roundup from (the company formerly known as) Monsanto, with it's active ingredient Glyphosate. This chemical is a registered anti-biotic with the FDA (...based on how it kills your healthy gut bacteria), and was patented in the 1960's as a chelator (a product used to clean clogged industrial drains by sucking away minerals like iron, calcium, magnesium, & zinc,...a feat it also does in your gut, preventing your body from absorbing these nutrients.) Additionally, Glyphosate has been shown in clinical trials to cause a form of cancer known as Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma. Search online about the new massive lawsuits against Monsanto this very reason. Deeply saddened by learning this as I was a big fan of this product. I cannot in good conscience purchase these again unless they switch to organic oats.

Good taste but wow - super gas producer. Have to be careful what I’m doing later in my day (have one at lunch) and feel bad for my spouse.

I've tried so many different protein bars. The ones that taste good are usually horrible for you and full of sugar. Though I wish this bar had some more protein (at least 20g vs. 14g), this is probably one of the best tasting, most well-balanced protein bar I've tried! Big fan.

Good price, good taste. It’s a protein bar, and it tastes pretty good for one. Good amount of protein/fiber too. I have had a few different protein bars here, and I’m on my fourth box and will continue to order these for a while. It’s a good value for what you get for sure.

I love these bars - taste good and not a lot of sugar or fillers. High protein level with some good Omega 3's. But this particular product, which was 'sold by Amazon', took weeks to get to me. I ordered it on June 30 and didn't receive it until July 20.

We love these bars. This, the peanut butter flavor and the coconut are so delicious. My girlfriend and I work out alot and have tried tons of different bars. We've had the longest run so far with these! Grass-fed protein makes the stomach feel good, unlike a bunch of other bars with all sorts of fake sugar etc that make you feel terrible. Honestly, the only thing we've fought about in the last month is who ate the last one.

I bought these for protein on the go, and also because they were low in sugar. I eat them almost daily and don’t get tired of them! They actually taste great and go really well with a banana and cup of coffee. Highly recommend chocolate mint, chocolate brownie, and peanut butter chocolate.
