Printer forces you to print info and wastes your ink
this product looks and works great except for one important thing, it purposefully wastes your ink so you have to buy more. I can't figure out how to stop the printer from printing a page with updates after my computer downloads an automatic update, instead of sending me an email or a notification on my computer, it prints the update... waste of ink and paper. or, if there is an issue with the printer, instead of communicating it to you on your computer, it makes you print an info page in color, to know the issue, again, WHY are we being forced to print instead of receiving this information via email or notification? I was then forced to print again hours later because of an issue that I did receive a notification about. Does HP think we aren't smart enough to figure out that they're purposefully wasting our ink? I've had this computer not even one day and so far I've already had to print 10 pages of things which has eaten into my ink stores. Returning unless HP can offer a solution.

Would not install to work wirelessly
If you want this printer for wireless connection, I would say do not walk--RUN away to something else. I will spare you describing the literal hours I went through with HP's useless instructions, attempting troubleshooting, and trying workarounds to no avail. Here's the short-ish version. The printer connected with my WiFi, no problem. Then to get it connected to the network, it was supposed to print out a claim code, but instead printed out a sheet of "what to do if you don't get a claim code" instructions. I followed those exactly, but it kept giving me a "reload Web Services" message. No instructions on how to overcome that. I turned off my firewall, but no. HP's website was no help. They have no tech support. Their automated "chat" is a parrot-like loop. I got my husband involved in case there was something I was missing, and we used another computer and its web browser. Same results. I finally used the USB connection and got it to print. But I bought this printer for its wireless capabilities. I will be returning it. Major fail.If you have found my review helpful, I'd really appreciate if you'd click the "Helpful" button. Thanks so much for reading! Liz

compact, versatile, Light-duty printer
What primarily drew me to this printer was it’s compact size. I would describe this as a light-use, convenience printer/scanner. If you’re like me who doesn't print or scan much but still would like to have a machine on hand when needed, this will work just fine. As for looks, the design is clean and even nice to look at. The power supply is integrated inside so theres no bulky “power brick” attached to the power cable to clutter up the floor. There is also a USB cable option in case you don’t want to use a wireless connection.Unlike other multifunction printers, the scanner uses a feeding mechanism instead of a flatbed. I was a little wary of this at first but it scans or copies with good quality. it accepts various sizes of documents from full-size 8.5x11” to smaller pieces of paper like receipts or photographs. Considering it uses rollers to feed the document I’d exercise caution with brittle or fragile paper like old family photos.Print speed is about “average”. Color on regular settings on plain paper will take about 10-20 seconds and black and white about half of those times. Regular black and white text documents will print quickly. Higher quality photo settings with color are the slowest. Id recommend a better printer if you're looking for faster and frequent photo printing. The ink cartridges are small so this is definitely not a high capacity printer. As i stated earlier, if you infrequently print from time to time this will be sufficient. If you’re really worried about needing more ink HP sells high capacity cartridges. The wireless has worked flawlessly and was easy to set up. Ive found printing directly from my iPhone is SLOW. One standard print, even in black and white took almost 3 minutes. I usually never print from my phone but it’s nice to have the option.

Another example of you get what you pay for.
Right out of the box it was one problem after another. First, the printer wouldn't connect on a 5G network (the network I use for my home computer)... so I had to switch my home computer to another network if I want to print. Second, the printer had a very difficult time finding my network. Took about a half a dozen times before connecting. Once these issues were resolved then the color ink cartridge that was included with the computer didn't work. So now it's on to spending at least 20 minutes on the phone with HP support with someone who does not speak clear english. .... After about a 30 minute call they told me to buy a new color cartridge. When I told the person I did not want to purchase a new $25 color cartridge when I had just purchased a brand new printer, they told me that was the procedure because they were not sure if it was the cartridge or the printer that was defective (that rationale still doesn't make any sense to me). That was HP's "help." It's that kind of crappy customer service that will have me going out of my way to NOT buy an HP product in the future.I had the printer less than 2 hours before I had to box it up and return it. I just want to print out some plain, basic documents over my home network. Didn't think that would be such a hassle.

A Disgrace to the HP Name
This printer is an utter disgrace to the HP name. I remember a time when the HP logo was a guarantee of good quality. No more. Now they sell things that don't work, and offer zero customer service, just to add insult to injury. To be fair, first the pros: It is indeed small, light, and nice looking. We got it because we need a very small printer for our micro office in an RV. It prints just fine, if a bit noisy. And slow, of course, but we expected that for the price.Next, the cons: It is billed as a printer that can print, scan, and copy.Well, scanning is vital for most of us, but on this printer, scanning DOES NOT WORK. You can open the scanning function. Then, as there is no flatbed (this a micro printer), you obviously think that you would give the printer the page to scan by putting it in the manual paper feed. Well, you can do that, but the printer refuses to accept that it is there. See the screen shot I uploaded. It just keeps saying "No document loaded."So, there is no way to scan. Off to Staples ...This is not just us - I have searched the Internet, and found many people desperately trying to get help with this "No document loaded" issue. To add yet more insult to injury, the HP people who try to answer the question tell us to "put the paper in the flatbed." THERE IS NO FLATBED! Those experts giving advice don't even know that they are dealing with a printer that has no flatbed. So, if you want something small that does nothing but print slowly, this would be fine. But if you actually want what we have all come to expect - a printer that does it all, including scan - do not waste your money on this printer.

Love at first print
Love at first print. After surfing through a myriad of electronic retailers websites I determined that yes, the HP DeskJet 3755 is the smallest printer on the market. II love how it conveniently fits into a bookshelf beside my desk. It takes up less than half the space of my previous printer. To date, I've only utilized the printer to print documents. Each and every print job has been pushed out with speed and perfection. Are there cheaper printers out there? Yes. Will you regret paying a bit more for the convenience of more space? No.GO FOR IT! :)

HORRIBLE printer
Decent printer, great value, doesn't take much space, compact, good quality printing, wireless setup was not very easy though, but managed to do it, photo printing is good too!****UPDATE****This printer is really ANNOYING. You constantly have to keep cleaning the ink cartridges and align printer for it to do a decent job. Down to 1 star from 4. Fed up, going to chuck it.

Not recommending
The printer quality is good but1. It is noisy (which is a not big deal for me but still) and quiet mode doesn't make much difference2. It occasionally disconnects using USB! I don't use WiFi for exactly the same disconnect reason but I first time see a printer which doesn't print when connected via USB. You have to disconnect USB or sometimes power cycle the printer.3. What made me to return it in addition of the above is the scanner. The feeder doesn't catch the paper so you have to make acrobatics movements to feed the paper with one hand (and of course it doesn't go straight to the feeder but curves) and pressing Scan button on PC with second hand.

I'm impressed
After reading Sooooo many negative reviews, then the positive ones, I decided to try it for the small price with great reservations. After setting it up, and having just a couple grrr moments, it started to print off of my Samsung Galaxy 8 phone! First thing I tried was printing out a return label for another product from an email!! Without having to use my PC. I'm impressed. I thought about all the printers I've gone through. And I couldn't remember one that didn't make me grit my teeth during set up. Very satisfied so far. Note that this is not a portable sized printer, but is definitely smaller than most desk top printers. I hope this review helps the next buyer who reads all of the negative reviews first like I did :)
