This lidar has a good performance taking into account its price. One drawback is that it only samples about 300 dots in 360° in its "Standard" mode, not 2K like it says in the specs.

Scratched my head for the longest time trying to get my computer to recognize this device until I realized I was not using a quality USB cable for the connection, once I replaced that I've had zero problems with this sensor, def recommend!

The software they suggest you install for 'quickstart' is based out of china and requires you create an account and login each time in order to use it. Who knows what data you are sending to them.

It comes complete with all the parts necessary to plug it in and explore Lidar. It gives a great picture of the surroundings.

A reasonable LIDAR unit that does the job.

I used this LIDAR system on a drone kit, and really enjoyed the simple interfaces. The packaging was secure and padded, and arrived on time.

Works good, tested on a windows 10 PC.

I tried to connect it to its software but I couldn’t.

Works well with my Arduino Mega. However very disappointed as the price dropped by £20 a few days after purchase!
