Pins and crimper work great but do yourself a favor and buy the metal tools for inserting the pins the plastic one this kit comes with will break very easy

Wire crimping works great in every which way easier to buy on amazon and get up your door then to go to the store and find out they're out of stock or the one that you want.They don't have on the shelf. Comfort and grips.Well, the size is perfect.Not too big but a good amount size in your hand.

Unfortunately I bought the wrong version of this (I needed 20 gauge, this maxes out at 16). But, for quickly and accurately crimping closed barrel DT connectors to wire this is hands down the tool to have.

Deutsch Connectors are awesome. Waterproof, easy to use, and look clean. These crimpers make it silly easy to get consistently spot on contacts and connectors. Even easier and faster than spade quick disconnect terminals to install.

Works great. You will need to solder your wire end before crimping or it won't hold.

The crimper feels very solid and produces perfect crimps every time. Connectors are easy to wire, look to be weatherproof, though not for underwater use. I'm using these on my sailboat, hopefully won't need that.One ding on the kit is the included pin removal tool, it cannot remove the green pin locks from the shell. It works ok to remove the pins themselves. There's a special tool that does all removal steps, wish it had been included here.
