I've been buying a generic Freekeh brand from a local grocery store, but I was very excited when I heard a company from near my hometown was offering a new product. Got it in 2 days with Amazon Prime just in time Sunday dinner and it turned out AMAZING! It was very simple, all you need is a pot and water and you have yourself a meal! Great packaging and the spice mix was included in a separate bag. Took me about 10 minutes to soak and then 20 minutes to cook.It had great flavor on it's own, but I added lemon, dill, and some fresh chopped basil to add some color. Paired it with a nice grilled chicken and white wine. Hands down one of the best Freekeh products I have ever tried. There are other products which may be a bit cheaper, but this is the first product i've tried that includes the spices in the bag which turns boring/plain Freekeh into a great dish.I can't wait to try their other flavors!

We love it! It cooks a little like rice. takes a little longer. But, the measure is about the same. I use 1/2 of the bag for 4 adults and it makes more than enough. ( 3 grown men- one ME)... ;) Flavor is excellent! Very filling!

Absolutely delicious - the aroma of roast is so strong and delightful, easy to prepare and just authentic. I prepared the whole bag and devoured it, it is that good!

I really wanted to like this product but it seemed to have too much chaf. The grains are not together. It almost seemed like it had been partially ground. I rinsed it for a long time. I put it in a bowl for all the chaf to raise to the top. But the final proywas too mushy. I also tried just a bit of the flavor packet as it contains Maltodextrin. I prefered to add my own seasoning.

I didn't realize for 10.5 oz. it was $9.99 per bag. I just picked up Freekah at Safeway 16 oz. it was $3.99 per bag.The price should be competitive, but it's not even close. This was totally not worth the price.

Love this grain. Has a great nutty taste and versatile uses just like rice and quinoa. What I love about this product is the packaging. It closes easily and one package feeds 4-6 people depending on how much want.

It tasted fine but it is quite expensive for the quantity.Also it includes a "flavor package" like when you get Ramen or Rice A Roni and similar to those products the "flavor package" is LOADED with sodium (just loaded!!!====="Would you like some Freekeh with your salt?")Also they cram the flavor package in the bag and when you take it out a lot of Freekah ends up on the floor.I'm confident that a better Company sells Freekeh at a better price, well packaged and not sky high with sodium, I'll keep looking for that.

Freekah online!! How much better can it get. Not only am I always buying the last package at the super market but I am constantly trying to find a new high quality source to meet my needs. This was a very low price and not having to pick up bags from the store is an added bonus. If you love freekah but hate going to the store and searching for it this is your best option.

The rice is good. The packaging isnt sealed very well though. Its sealed with wax or something. Leaks a bit if you squeeze the package.

I didn't used it as of yet. But, I read the amazing story of the origin of the Freekeh on the back of the bag!!!! Very amazing story! Thank you so much for the knowledge!! I'm from Galil and didn't really know this info about Freekeh!! You touched my heart! Thank you

It's alright just another wheat product that can be utilized in multiple ways even as a desert believe it or not. All one needs is some imagination and creativity. I use it as a substitute for rice mostly

Although this is supposed to be super good for you...I did not like the flavour at all. It was actually awful. It’s not the sellers fault so I gave it four stars but please save your money and your tastebuds.

I am happy with Amazon purchase.But this one picture it was big but small package for the price. Bought 2 package green and normal will help me with my fasting time. Thanks
