There is one design flaw worth mentioning. When you close the handle it is quite easy to get your skin pinched . This could’ve been overcome if they had put a spacer of plastic of perhaps a quarter of an inch in height between the two handles. It’s not a huge deal and I’m sure that I can MacGyver a solution but nonetheless as I said, worth mentioning. They do cut very nicely and the blades are very sharp.### July 2020### I've reduced my rating one star due to the repeated pinching caused by a design flaw. I modified the scissors to avoid pinching as follows. Remove spring by compressing it, remove small black slide, pre drill small starter hole near bottom of handle and insert a wood screw that is long enough to allow the blade to cut OK but creates a space between the two handles when cutting. Where the black slide was located are two "bumps" or high sports of plastic. I sanded off some of the plastic. Reinsert the spring. Keep the black slide and use it to keep the blades closed when storing. Total time to do this was about 5 minutes.

The first time I used it, it wouldn't lock. The second time, it fell apart in my hand. My father gave me a pair of the fiskers, and they lasted 8 years. This is the same design and even came with an extra spring. Unfortunately, they fell apart as I was trimming up my tomato plants.

These trimmers are great. Used them for the first time to dead head my garden. The curve on the tip of the scissors fits great in between the plants. Highly recommend. Great price for the two pack. One in my backyard another in front yard.☺

This order was probably the 3rd or 4th time I have purchased these snips. Not only are they great for gardening, they are perfect for seafood. My husband and I use them with crawfish tails, shrimp and lobster. They are the best and much cheaper than other "kitchen scissors".

Horrible. Cheap. Knock off. Blades don’t line up when fully closed not smooth trimming Hydrofarm has the best trimmers out there. Trust me spend the extra money on Hydrofarm

this is great for trimming of any plant. i like the need nose tip an dhow they curve. they have come in handy many times over.
