My wife and I loved the look of this table. When we started assembly, though, we began to find problems. (1) the underside of the table top had a chip in the laminate; (the back of the top had a couple of small splits (3) a mounting hole to connect the top to the sides was missing (4) one of the threaded inserts in the top slightly stripped with moderate tightening. I expect better quality and quality control for the price of this table. We decided not to return it because I was able either to take care of the issues myself or they were in places not obvious to plain sight.

Very easy to put together and it is a beautiful peice of furniture. I liked it so much, I bought a two door cabinet that almost matches the color, it’s the same company that makes them. They look nice in the same room.

Who is pretty easy to put together that’s the directions were hard to understand and whoever printed the direction should change the ink in the printer

Assembling the Phoenix Home Tilburg Mission-Style Wood Cabinet End Table was a bit of a challenge, but one to which I was equal. Once the assembly was complete, I was very pleased with the cabinet, both with respect to its appearance and the quality of the materials. It makes a very nice addition to my living room.The cabinet was packaged very well. There was no visible damage to the packaging. However, the top piece of the cabinet was damaged. There is scraped area of about 2 inches square. Since the package showed no visible signs of damage in shipment, I can only assume that the damage occurred before the cabinet was packed for shipment. For this oversight, I am taking off one star.

This is probably the worst piece of furniture that I have ever had. I have had several pieces of furniture that required assembly, but this was a mess. My husband and I have no problems with furniture that needs assembly especially if it is a bargain. Not only is this not a bargain, it is also not easy to assemble.The instructions are fairly straight forward. They include a few pictures and appear to be simple. That was not the case. This was by far the most irritating piece of furniture that I have ever had to assemble in my life. The instructions are useless. They contain pictures that are wrong. If you follow them, you will never be able to assemble this. My husband and I worked on this together and we were both disgusted very early on. The instructions tell you to put together the front, back and one side. Then it tells you to insert the shelves, etc. It doesn't sound bad, but it is literally impossible. None of it fits right unless you can have someone to hold the pieces in place while the other one puts them in. In the end we realized that putting on the sides and the back made it much easier to insert the shelves. Even then, you need help to hold the pieces before locking them into place. That wasn't the only problems. Some of the holes were drilled crooked, so the screws wouldn't fit right. Even the screws in the magnetic closure on the door were not installed right, so one screw sticks out in a dangerous way. There was glue and staples on parts where they clearly were not cut right before shipping. This was a clear example of poor construction.I understand that this review probably makes no sense unless you have this already. That's why I warn anyone who wants it to be prepared for a complicated and unnecessarily difficult assembly. Mine had flaws that may not be in most, but any company that would sell a product with wooden pieces glued and stapled together may not care about quality. It does look good in the end, but the screws sticking out make it look cheap and ill constructed.
