The Tahe Marine BaySpirit sea/touring kayak is from the Spirit series the more advanced than the Ocean Spirit or the SeaSpirit. With a little less stability than the SeaSpirit, BaySpirit has been given some more speed with the slightly round-shaped hull. Stability is still comfortable, but the feeling is more even. With the standard deck layout you will also have a place for an extra paddle, map, or other accessories you may need on the water. The deck comes with a minibox, to secure easier access to your needs. The Spirit series kayaks are equipped with a retractable skeg. The kayak measures 17.25 feet by 22.00 inches and has a capacity of 298 pounds. The cockpit measures 31.50 inches by 16.50 inches; front hatch measures 10 inches; rear hatch measures 17 inches by 10.25 inches; minibox measures 6 inches.
