The leather is soft, yet sturdy and the case is very flexible, but substantial enough for daily use.I do not like plastic sleeve cases due to their inability to protect the screen and most folio cases are unfortunately plastic-like, but this case is lovely. There are so many cheap, bulky, ugly and plain iphone folios out there, but this one is simple, elegant and useful. And yes, it is certainly 100% leather, and feels just like it.I bought the plum color. If there were a lavender or violet option available I would buy it too. I don't normally pay this much for a case for any electronic device, but I am nonetheless glad I did. I have two plastic cases for at home use, and I see no need to buy any more after acquiring this one. If the price ever drops I might pick up a black or brown case.I heard muffled calls the first time that I used my phone with the case, however, on the second time the calls were not muffled at all. Why? I adjusted my tempered glass screen cover. I'm glad, because I love this case. I want to pick one up in another color now...let's see if my budget allows for it :)I've been using the case for a few months now and the leather has not been scratched/chipped and everything appears good sofar. I have not seen a better leather folio type case for the iphone, the design is perfection.

This wallet case is the best of this style of phone case I have ever seen. The leather is top notch and all of the stitching is flawless. What I really like about this case is all of the phones buttons are easily accessible and not covered up by anything. The phone fits snugly in the "holder" without having to have unsightly material covering the top and bottom of the phone like other cases of this style have. I am completely happy with my purchase and shipping was super fast. I highly recommend this case to anyone looking for a stylish case with the functionality of carrying a couple credit cards, ID, and cash.

I've used a number of iPhone wallet cases and this is by far my favorite.Build quality: good feeling leather with consistent stitching.Fit: fits my iPhone 5 very well- I've already dropped my phone a handful of times and the device has remained in the holder. All I/Os are easily accessible.Storage: I fit two credit cards in the front sleeves, my drivers license, a $20 bill, my transit card, and my office building badge in the back pocket. It all fits easily.

I gave the cover 4 stars because I expected the leather to be a better quality. I will keep the cover because I need it and I'm tired of looking. I have only been using the cover for a week so we will see how it holds up.

Beautifully made - good quality leather - great looking. I wish they would make a comparable case for my iPad mini - the only ones I've seen online are only available in black and white. If it came in other colors, I would order it in a heartbeat.This case gives terrific protection for the phone yet all features are easily accessible and the workmanship and overall quality are excellent. Pricey but worth it - highly recommend.

I read all the positive reviews on this item and was very excited to receive it. When it came, I loved the look, leather quality and color. However, as soon as I put the phone in it and people tried to call me, they said that they could not hear me well, because my voice sounded "muffled". I repeatedly tested it by having them continue to talk while I proceeded to take the phone out of the case. Every time this happened, the person on the other end said they could hear me much better when I took the phone out of this wallet. So, I had to return it. Very disappointed, because I really liked the look and convenience of this type of wallet.

I LOVE this case. It has a magnetic closure, holds the phone securely, & has a pocket for credit card, or cash. I previously had the 12 South BookBook case for my iPhone 4, but when I upgraded to iPhone 5, the case was too small. I liked that case too, but this one is a little less expensive & is a nice change with the bright red leather cover. Well made & really pretty!

This is the second wallet-type phone case I've owed. This is light years better than the one I previously owned. It is genuine leather, which makes it more durable than the faux leather one I had previously. I've already dropped it a couple times and there is no scuff or mark on it anywhere and my phone is uninjured. The quality is top notch. I highly recommend it.

Ich habe mir dieses Case bestellt, da ich einen schicken Schutz für mein neues Iphone 5s wollte. Die vorherigen Bewertungen sind ja nun leicht durchwachsen, bis eher positiv.Ich habe es trotzdem bestellt, weil Farbe, Material und eben doch ein paar positive Bewertungen bei mir punkten konnten.Nun ja - das Case gefällt mir an sich ganz gut. Zur Haltbarkeit kann ich noch nicht so viel sagen. Ich hoffe aber, dass sich die Nähte oder der Kleber lösen, wie andere Käufer hier beschreiben....Zu Material und Farbe kann ich sagen, mit der Farbe bin ich zufrieden aber das Material/ die Haptik lässt doch bei dem Preis etwas zu wünschen übrig. Ich hatte es mir hochwertiger vorgestellt, denn es fühlt sich billig an und sobald man schon mit dem Fingernagel mal "daran schrabbt" (beim Auf- und Zumachen) ist ein fetter Kratzer drin.Positiv ist, dass das Telefon schön fest im Case sitzt und man wirklich einen rundum- Schutz vor Stürtzen hat. Die Fächer sind sehr praktisch für ein paar Visitenkarten, Geldscheine/ EC oder Kreditkarte. So spart man sich für kleinere Aktivitäten echt das Portemonaie.Das Handling ist ganz ok. Etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig weil es natürlich mehr Volumen in der Hand/ Hosentasche ist und das Öffnen und Schließen muss einhändig etwas "geübt" werden. Was etwas nervt, aber verschmerzbar ist - ist, dass beim zurückklappen der Frontseite, die Schnalle vom Magnetverschluss etwas mit der Hand beim Bedienen des Tochscreens kollidiert.Da das Iphone 5s ja eh schon einen größeren Display hat, und das Telefon meist in der Handfläche bewegt werden muss, um überall heran zu kommen. Das ist dann mit der Schnalle im Weg - hm naja... wie gesagt, aber verschmerzbar.Fazit: 20 EUR Verkaufspreis hätten hier auch locker gereicht. Deshalb nur 3 Sterne.

Ich hatte schon mehrfach Stilgut Hüllen gekauft. Für eine Freundin in Form Samsung A3 2016, für meinen Vater iPhone SE und für mich iPhone 8.. Die Hülle meiner Mama hat sich nach wenigen Monaten an der Oberfläche aufgelöst. Als Folge habe ich diese reklamiert wobei auf das Recht des Artikeltauschs bestanden wurde und habe nach vielen selbst getragenen Versandkosten letztendlich doch das Geld zurückbekommen, blieb jedoch auf den Versandkosten von etwa 8 Euro sitzen. Jetzt der nächste Vorfall: meine Hülle hat nun ebenfalls nach etwas mehr als einem Jahr den Geist aufgegeben. Das Handy ist mehrfach herausgefallen, da die Hülle das Handy nicht mehr fest genug hält.Sehr Schade. Ich war lange Zeit ein Verfechter von Stilgut, da ich anfangs von der Qualität überzeugt war. Jedoch kann ich mittlerweile jedem davon abraten, da die Qualität stark nachgelassen zu haben scheint.Ich bin enttäuscht!

I really like StilGut products and therefore, I had ordered both an iPad mini and an iPhone 5S case/cover. The leather, the cognac colour and the finish of iPhone case is simply amazing. But there is a big interference in sound quality. The sound quality becomes very poor when I put the iPhone in StilGut case. Everybody has complained that they can't hear me as there is lots of disturbance. When I take the iPhone out of the case, the sound quality changes to normal (which is crystal clear). This case has a magnet for closing/opening and I think, this magnet is interfering with the sound quality. StilGut must rethink their magnet design as they are known for their quality design. But what's the point of great finish when nobody can hear you? So I am not using this case anymore. Si è spellato abbastanza in fretta il bordino laterale della cinghietta (che è magnetica) di chiusura (per capirci la spellatura non è visibile col telefono di fronte ma solo di profilo, parliamo di una filetto di 1mm di spessore) ma direi che tutto sommato puo starci. In compenso le cuciture stanno resistendo molto bene. Se fosse costata dieci euro in meno (io l'ho pagata 29.90) avrei dato 5 stelle. In generale, è un acquisto che mi sento di consigliare.
