Super value. These are obviously not going to be the sturdiest option and I wouldn’t use them for full-on garage work but they’re ideal for basic floor standing shelving where looks don’t matter. I used these to make 2 low shelves in my cellar - each box makes either one tall 5 shelf unit or a low 2 shelf plus a low 3 shelf. Very flexible in terms of shelf height options. You need a mallet or hammer to get the pieces to clip together correctly, otherwise you will find them coming apart when lifted between locations as described in another review - this is caused by improper assembly not the shelf design.

Easy to assemble but be ready with a rubber mallet or a hammer with rubber support (or a hammer and a shirt just to cushion the metal when you hit it) to put it in. You have to lightly hit it to put it in the slit. I am disabled so I have not much energy to yank it in. You might be able to do it without a hammer. It is sturdy but better to lean it on the wall. I think it is better that they will include some fixtures so that you can fix it on the wall. I can recommend this product as it gives me more space to organise my things.

Good design but if you want hours of frustration go for this.The installation sheet is a joke.There is a tiny para. in the LHCorner which purports to identify the parts.Most of which look like straight lines.The mallet is mainly used to break the joints that you have put in the wrong hole.I have a degree in engineering.It was of little use in this nightmare.

The old style bolt together steel shelves were less fiddly to assemble. If the upper and lower tabs on the cross pieces were different lengths this would go a long way to rectifying this. I doubt that the MDF will last nearly as long. The thickness of the shelf cross pieces takes a lot from the usable height of the unit.

The shelves are probably good IF you can build them. You need strength, tools and a helper. Minimal instructions. No warning on the description. No refund unless you pay return postage of at least half the cost of the item. I have donated my set of shelves to someone who can put them together. Pity as I buy a lot from Amazon and have made very few returns or complaints over the years.

I wanted shelving for a food storage area. Purchased two sets of shelves because they were such good value and I was able to adapt the kits to make to closely shelved units to take tins and bottles etc. Some pieces were surplus but it did not matter. No screws or nuts and bolts - it all just clicked together.

Product was a bit more basic than I thought, instructions were basic but I finally managed to work out how to put together. Good price.

Only used 4 shelves but do exactly what I need them to. Had to built top half in situ under the stairs. Cupboard is much tidier now!
