DELTA 79710 Cassidy Glass Bathroom Shelf with Towel Bar, 18 inch, Chrome

I was a little worried after reading a few reviews of customers ordering this 18" shelf and receiving the wrong sized shelf or missing some pieces. Well, I received my 18" shelf today and I'm happy to say that it was the right size and all the pieces were in the box. Just make sure that when you open the box, take an inventory of all the pieces before discarding the box because there was a small set screw that had come off and was loose in the box. (luckily I found it in the box). This is a good looking shelf and the polished chrome is very shiny. The glass shelf is also tempered glass. I installed the towel bar and it's not as solid as I was hoping it to be (a little loose on the ends). Just wrap a little electrical tape on the ends of the towel bar before inserting them and it should be a tighter fit without any rattling. There are chrome caps that come installed where the towel bar is to be inserted. If you choose not to use the towel bar just leave them as is because they look great. If you decide to install the towel bar just remove the set screws with the supplied allen wrench, remove the chrome caps and attach the towel bar. Shelf loos great with or without the towel bar.

With my bathroom makeover, I used Delta faucets because I loved the champagne bronze color and the faucets were good products at a reasonable cost. Little did I realize how difficult it would be to find appropriate accessories. My vanity was small enough that I didn't want to clutter it with things like tissue, and this shelf with a towel rack was the perfect solution. It is beautiful, the right color, and seems very sturdy. My husband was able to install it quite easily. I highly recommend it! My one product negative is the price is much higher than comparable units in other colors, so this was definitely a splurge for me.

Wow, lovely, classy glass shelf and towel bar. Adds beauty to the bathroom, as well as functionality. I store nice-looking hair products on the shelf, as I have no medicine cabinet for it. Great to get clutter off the countertop. Well made, solid and beautiful. Towel bar hangs well out from the wall, so it’s easy to take it on and off without ever disturbing the shelf

The design of this piece is absolutely stunning. But the greatest benefit of this product is the fact that the towel rain can be removed an threaded decorative piece hides the hole.They have plenty of room to hold even the biggest Turkish towels. The pieces and parts feel heavy and well made. Will definitely look for delta bars and holders in the future.

We have a hollywodood bath between 2 guest bedrooms. The sink areas had only one towel bar with not alot of counter space for friends or family to place their personal items. This a very attractive combo that solves the problem perfectly. We had it installed on the opposite wall from the other towel bar, but replaced the anchors supplied with more heavy duty anchors to avoid worrying about it being pulled out from the wall. The tempered glass shelf adds off the counter additional space, and the towel bar is a perfect size. Even though it is not a match style wise, it looks great. Definitely recommended.

I expect more from a Delta product than this. The whole shelf looks rather flimsy when hanging on the wall. There are no meaningful instructions. The item comes with a skimpy specialized tool that didn’t fit all of screws. It comes “prescrewed” but you have to unscrew the screws to install it on the wall. In several cases, the screws were so tight that the specialized tool wasn’t up for the job. Luckily, my husband had his own tool that worked. Also, it came with mollies for the wall, but the screws given to use with the mollies were too large and this necessitated a trip to the hardware store to find the correct sized molly. After all this, we were not very happy with the result. We would have sent it back, but we were now stuck with four mollies we’d never get out of the wall. So, we’ll live with it.

Bought two shelfs, one in chrome and the other in bronze. Both were made well and deliver on time. Delta is a great company so I was not surprised how great the shelf looked in my bathroom. Easy to install. Definitely recommend buying from this seller.

This is exactly what was needed for our powder room that had a pedestal sink and no counter top for glass, toothbrush & paste as well as hairbrush. It is very good quality and looks awesome. Of course, the functionality is one of its best attributes. Love it and would buy again.

Arrived early. Easy to install. Finish matches the satin silver finish on my faucet and light fixture. Shelf/towel bar combo is very convenient in a small powder room.
