It really works!!!
This was a surprise item as I didn't know it existed. I have a two, really ugly coats that are great traveling coats. They have 22 pockets. No need for a purse. While talking to my Sister about it, I realized these could be embellished. I cross stitched flowers onto the back of one and sleeves on the other. They turned out great. I'll try to include the pictures here.Oh, and the material is water soluble. It really does work!

Just what I needed
Used this water soluble canvas to create cross stitch designs on an embroidered band for a custom Christmas tree skirt. It worked very well. It is sturdy but flexible, can be cut to size and can be marked with a pen. There were no instructions, so I had to experiment to determine the best way to dissolve it (ended up soaking the finished work in warm water, then rinsing thoroughly), and it is VERY pricey. But it was so much better and easier than traditional waste canvas. Ordered it twice—first delivery more than a week, second time only a couple of days.

Very affordable
Using water soluble canvas has expanded my cross stitch experience. Very easy to use. You get quite a bit of canvas for the price.

I purchased this to Cross Stitch directly to a shirt.

Difficult to use
It came with no information or instructions. Was rolled so tightly it would not lay flat on my fabric. (Cross stitch project.) I doubt it can be ironed in order to flatten it. Holes were smaller than what this size usual cross stitch waste cloth provides making it difficult to find a needle that worked for both my fabric and this project. Would not buy again.

Washes Right Away
Used this for a cross-stitching project to put a design on a baby bib. My only complaint is that this is white/clear ish and the bib was white, so you had to have the lighting just right to really be able to see it and count over properly. So it would be nice if it came in beige or something. But when I was done, I just ran it under the tap in the bathtub and it dissolved right away and the bib looked great! Will definitely continue using in the future.

Took me a minute to even figure out what it was.
It works fine, but it was my first time using something like this so I felt a little at sea when it arrived in a tight little spiral with zero packaging aside from a ziplock baggie much less ANY instructions.
