For many years I'd used foil shavers to get a close shave; they worked well but were noisy and needed expensive replacements for the foils and cutters, so I decided to try a rotary shaver. The first one I tried was inexpensive, worked well for a while, didn't hold a charge well, and totally died after six months. I've had the Dynabliss just a short time, but at this point it works very well. This shaver costs much less than the replacement parts for a foil razor. It's quiet, shaves close, and keeps a charge very well. It is easy to clean without a brush--just run water through the cutters. The shape and size of this shaver is the same as that of the failed rotary shaver, but the cutting blades on this one seem stronger to me.The body of this shaver--like the body of the previous shaver-- seems slippery when wet; it would help to have something rough or rubbery to make the shaver feel more secure in my hand. The shaver does a good job on the neck, cutting close with no irritation when shaving wet. In fact, my experience tells me to use electric shavers wet--never dry--and using shave cream or gel (not foam). I don't expect to return to foil shaving again. Incidentally, this shaver is so quiet that I can listen to music while shaving.

I am a long-time Norelco Shaver user. I bought top-of-the-line over a decade ago, and replaced the 3 heads and blades twice. It worked great, battery still working great. Then I accidentally knocked it off the counter, and broke the head. OK, replace the head. WHAT??? $85? So I stated looking around at - Norelco shavers, of course. But to get a digital display of the battery condition, it looks like $200. A much cheaper version just has "battery low" indicator. Well, I am addicted to knowing how much charge I have left (in minutes, on the old shaver). But I do not want to spend $200. So what about other brands? This unit caught my eye. It was way less expensive than head replacement, and had the desired features, including a display of battery condition. It uses similar technology for the shaving heads.So, I gave it a try. I have to say, it does an excellent job, and works very much like the Norelco I broke. For the price, you really can't beat it. I don't know if the battery readout is in minutes or percent, but I use about the same (3 to 5) for a shave, so it is similar (it's either 3-5 minutes or 3-5%, but who cares?). Anyway, I was pleasantly surprised by the build quality and shave experience for such an inexpensive shaver. For the price, you can't go wrong. In fact, why spend more?

For the price, you’re not ‘gonna find a better electric razor. I’ve had this thing for a month and I’ve only had to charge it once! It does a pretty close shave, works quickly and efficiently for dry and wet shaving, and the fact that it’s water-proof is just a bonus!My only complaints are that I cannot use this thing to shave my neck or it’ll leave a terrible razor-rash (but then again, I have sensitive skin so it could just be my skin sensitivity) and the brushes aren’t that good at getting the excess hair out. Overall, if you’re looking for something inexpensive that does a good job- this razor IS for you!

I've used foil shavers for years to "clean up" in between shaves with standard razors. Since I also sport the Bruce Willis/Cpt Picard shaved head look, I have a ton of real-estate to cover and, since the "hermit mountain man" look doesn't fit well with my corporate job, I pretty much have to use an electric so I'm clean shaven without the pain and irritation of shaving with a razor everyday.I've never used a Rotary shaver before this one so I can't compare it to anything else. However, since my facial hair grows so fast, I've always bought the top of the line foil shavers because I figured if they cost so much, they've got to last, travel well, and do a pretty decent job of cleaning up before a meeting. For me, price equalled quality.So, I'm on the hunt for a new electric and I came across the DynaBliss 3D. I'd always wanted to try out a rotary but, with the money I'd spend on one of the high-end models, I was always hesitant because of the nagging,"what if I hate it?" However, for less than a quarter of what I'd spent on just one of the "high-end" foils, I figured who cares if I hate it. I'd just regift it if it was awful.Well, I'd gone about three days without a shave when this arrived and I was literally itching (stupid stubble) to try this thing out. Then I remembered I'd need to charge it first and I was pleasantly surprised to find that it came FULLY charged!The quality of this razor is immediately evident when you get it out of the package. For less than $40.00, I was expecting a cheap, light razor but it actually feels substantial and is amazingly ergonomic. As for the performance, quite frankly I was shocked! Definitely have to use a different circular motion to this versus a foil but it was easy to get used to because of the design. The rotary heads flex and pivot just as described and, even with my longer and super course stubble, I got a MUCH closer shave than I ever did with my overpriced foils; especially around my chin and neck.Due to a couple of brain surgeries (brain cancer), I have a LARGE scar on the right side of my head that's always been hit or miss with electrics. The DynaBliss 3D handled my whole head and face (including that scar) like a champ! Seriously, I'm a true believer in rotary shavers now!That whole shave took me down to about 90% power (it took a while to get used to the rotary motion versus a foil). I plugged it in (with a standard micro-USB cable: BRILLIANT!) and it took less than five minutes to get back to 100% charge. This thing is ridiculously well made with an amazing battery!Long story short, I couldn't be happier and plan on getting another one just to keep in my travel bag for business trips!

i dislike that it does not come with an adapter to actually charge from outlet. How much would it take to include the adapter? Maybe I should just plug my Razor up to my computer. Geez people.
