I have not had banana porridge too often in my life, but I am certain when it was made for me, the chief ingredient were bananas. My second problem with this item is that I purchased it previously for a reasonable price. Now the price has more than quadrupled to over $35. Since I am perfectly capable of making real banana porridge from scratch, I will just do that. $35 is an absurd price for a product which is more flour than bananas.

I've used this product a few times and I must say I am not impressed. There is no substitute for real bananas when making banana porridge.

Okay at best to me, bland taste

I just cooked this and it seems like after following the recipe that it came out too watery. I also found 2 small moths in the bag which was completely closed before purchasing it. I recommend sifting the product just before pouring the 4 tablespoons needed. I am not sure if I over stirred the porridge mix. After I made the porridge I added more of the mix and it only thickened up just a little. I recommend maybe adding some real green bananas to this mix after it is done. It doesn't have as good as a banana taste as the one made from scratch.
